  • Umart purchased MSY in 2022. So they both always have the same prices. I miss the days when you could just go to MSY, buy over the counter and pay with cash.

  • The GOATest mouse.

    • I feel like quality has dropped YoY tho

  • it's testing the people's IQ, mx master 10 could be same as iPhone, it's a bloody mouse.

  • Does it still have the gross rubber on the thumb rest? Switched to a Keychron M6 because it was wearing down on my Master 3.

    • Keen to know pros and cons of mx master and keychron
Particularly that I convinced myself I can’t go back to the normal mouse wheel

      • M6
Profiles are stored on the mouse and the configurator is web-based, so you don't need the garbage Logi Options+ software on every machine you use.
Switching devices on the fly takes longer because there's so many buttons on the bottom of the mouse and the LEDs don't light up until you press them
Better sensors and performance mode options for gaming
Possibly user error, but I find myself hitting the side buttons by accident too often. Feel like they should require a little more pressure to actuate.
        Has a wired mode

If you're into mouse wheels I should note that the M6 wheel feels weird coming from the MX Master 3. Not sure how to explain it properly. Might just need time to get used to it.

        MX Master 3
Darkfield sensor feels like it has the edge on unconventional surfaces
Honestly can't think of a reason to back to the MX Master series.

        • Reason I like my Mx2
          * The switch between haptic scrolling and flywheel is something I like very much.
          * Logi options is not the best but gives the ability to copy paste across devices. I think keychron has something similar
          * Three device profiles, one is dongle and two BT got me covered across my laptops.
          * Also hefty and comfortable

    • Which version of the M6 did you get? One with the metal scroll wheel?

      • I got the one with the 3395 sensor. It came with a metal scroll wheel. I think only the early low end revision had a plastic one?

  • I've had it for a few months now and I am selling it. I tried multiple times to give it a chance, but it's just not good. The polling rate is really slow, which I can easily tell even on a 100hz monitor. It constantly stutters both in Bluetooth and with the dongle, and in my opinion it's pretty heavy.

  • I think this deal is better https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/961528 - the difference between them is so neglible, the only thing is less rubber coating on the 4 which is definitely a n improvement.

  • Am enjoying my G502X.

  • My MX Master 3 Wireless isn't great
Shame connecting the USB-C doesn't convert these into wired mice

  • Still using the original MX Master I bought in December 2016 for $70. It's copped a hiding, been dropped down concrete stairwells and still works perfectly with great battery life.

    • Same here, unfortunately it's getting to replacement time after replacing the battery about 4 years ago, now the wheel has lost that nice scroll. Trying to decide whether I should go for 3s or 4. Hopefully for that next 10 years. Recommendations?
