  • iPhone Model BM3602 is for lightning port phones up to IPhone 14, no good for USB-C iPhones

    • Can’t you get Android version as it has USB C? Or it is not compatible with iPhone USB C port?

      • From some quick research it seems like it may or may not need an Android phone for updates first before it works with an iPhone?

Both "for iPhone" variants in this deal shows lightning in the photo but BM3601 does mention USB-C in the description, but same model number at JB correctly specifies lightning: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/backbone-one-mobile-gamin…

      • Idk just google it yourself

        • Not asking you. Stupid

    • Thanks, I'll put lightning in the title for iPhone, if that's the case.

      • What game you playing with these controller btw

  • For anyone wondering, these are the Gen 1.

  • These are trash and will break within a few weeks. Spend a bit more and get the best mobile gaming controller, a GameSir G8.

    • Dunno about trash, my gen 1 still going strong since launch

    • Gamesir g8 rules. Massive improvement on the switch 2 joycons for handheld play.

      • Seems to be on sale at Centrecom

    • G8 or G8 plus?

  • Both iPhone backbones are lightning port so won’t work with iPhones past 14

For the Android one you could use it on a newer iPhone but there’s a little bit of mucking around

Backbone One (1st Generation): If you have an older Android USB-C version, you will need to plug it into an Android phone first, open the Backbone app, and update the controller's firmware. Once updated, it will work on your iPhone

  • Ugh I JUST bought a GameSir X5 Lite for 45$… and it's coming from China so this would've not only been cheaper but here sooner.

  • I can only see the iPhone left.

    • Thanks, will mark Android as sold out.

  • Ordered the Android version, said model number was BM3604, actually received a BB-51-B-R, which is NOT the PlayStation edition that was advertised and is not compatible with PS Remote Play

  • Got Gamesir 8 Plus Bluetooth and words well with my On android device and ipad as well. Use PXplay app. Well worth the money. Next to no lag.
