Hey mate, curious if you ended up finding something that suited? I have the same problem and have tried multiple ear buds….I use an android and really want good call quality. Music , noise cancelling etc is not all that important.

Bose QC ultra 2 buds are excellent for phone calls after latest update

I brought the Bose QC buds other day really phenomenal the ACN is mind blowing but they keep dropping connection. I've owned many buds from cheape to more expensive never happend.

@LilWhat: Their app is bad, but the QC ultra 2 is way better than v1 and the non ultra ones, it was similar until last update, not saying they are perfect, and not free of bugs, but really good

Samsung buds 4 pro and the OnePlus buds 3 pro have been great for me. Nobody has said "I can't hear you" etc.

"Fit is generally poor"
Are they too small?

I actually like the smaller ones without stems but these would sometimes slip out with movement eg standing up/sitting down etc. for me anyway. I didn't try them with replacement tips though. Im using foam tips now and they are holding far better.

Can you share the foam tips you are using? I am keen to replace my silicone ones as they keep falling off

I'm surprised by this. I think these are fantastic, the noise cancelling and clarity both ways for calls is unmatched in my experience, they fit me really well, motion controls are great, the only part they are not amazing is the sound quality for misic. They arw just pretty average, everything else A+

Great to hear a different experience to be honest. It's such a mystery because reviews generally give them good feedback for call quality. I had no issues when indoors but the moment I step outside on a call, the other parties pretty much immediately said they couldn't hear me. Wonder if I just didn't wear them right or something. Had same issue with multiple pairs.

Got these for under $100 from the last deal. Wouldn't want to pay any more. They really aren't good.
Noise cancelling is good - but that's about it. Terrible sound quality

Agreed - my left earbud from that same sale (Telstra) just died a couple of weeks ago for no apparent reason, and to replace it would cost more than the $100 I paid for them. My sony's are still going strong from 6 years ago (though admittedly those were a tough brand for swimming and the pixels sound way better and I thought were pretty awesome before they died)

My pro one stopped beccause of water after the shower maybe check if it got wet inside if yet rice would help to take the moisture out of it.

Do a warranty claim? Why did you need to buy new ones if they died on their own?

Noticably better ANC than Pro 1.
Fit is pretty much the same as Pro 1, I had no issues previously and no issues now.
Just to give a different opinion.

I kind of love mine. Bought when they were $100 and have been very happy using them for music/podcasts.Might not be worth at this price, but definitely decent if they drop closer to what they used to be.

Missed out when it was $100. I'll subscribe now.

+1 great ear buds. Fits perfect and have had plenty of phone calls in busy airports or outside in the wind with no dramas.

That's op, grabbed one (off Amazon who have matched the price)
I bought the pixel buds 2a for $190 so I'm just gonna swap them for these!

Hmm, I'm going on a trip in July and my current earbuds are struggling (left one only last 1 hour) Nothing Ear 2..
I had a filter saved for when a good deal popped up for these hard to jump at it when I saw they were sold for $100ish a little while back haha- 0

Fit sucks for me and falls out while running

Could not get the supplied tips to make them work ( kept falling out) but had a set of AliExpress Clarion tips which made them fit perfectly….

Best to avoid google store as their after sales support is woeful. Go price match a retailer if you must.

PIXELAU5 to save an extra 5% on the Google store. I tried to get JB to price match that price of $208.06 - best they could do was $215. Good enough for me, credit card points can pay for these
- 1

If you have access to the 5% off discounted JB hi-fi instant gift cards you can bring it down to $205 on-top oof that pricebeat

As much as I have always loved Google products, these really aren't great. Fit is generally poor and the call quality is terrible especially in windy/outdoor conditions. Reviews aren't that bad for it but I ended up trying 3 different sets and they were all terrible for calls.
