This is the cheapest I could find the Ubiquiti Unifi Dream Router 7 (UDR7) at the moment.
The code is automatically applied at the eBay checkout and brings it down from $479 to $431.10.
I got 3% off eBay gift cards (via Macquarie Bank) to make it $418.17.
Not bad.

There are lots of other posts here for this router, so check those out for some detail and users' experience.
Personally, I'm upgrading from an original UDM (Dream Machine) because it died overnight, won't turn on this morning. It's colder than usual here, so I know it's hard for me to get started in the mornings too. I had been looking for a reason to upgrade, but wasn't expecting that sudden death would be the reason.

  I just got a U7-Lite and it's increased my speeds drastically and now I have the itch to replace my Asus Modem Router with this, to simplify the network.

  I'm planning on utilising the SFP port and converting it to ethernet for WAN - which I've read can be done. Has anyone here done this?

  @jazzninja I've had the same thing happen to Unifi gear and each time it was the power supply that had died. Swapped in a new one with the same specs and all was well again.

    Thanks for sharing your experience. The UDM (base) has an internal power supply and no user-friendly way of opening it up. I'll give it a try though :)

  Thanks OP, I've been meaning to replace my previous UDR6 so had an ozbargain alert awaiting your post.

  While it hasn't died, the display on it has failed, and the lites on the network ports don't work either. Apparently they are controlled by the same chip internally.

  The problem with this is that sometimes it takes ages to reboot after a power failure, 30min to 1h, and I have no idea what is going on, wether it has died or whatever, as I've got no feedback. All I can do is wait until I can start pinging it again.

  Pretty decent size home network with 9 unifi switches and APs and about 100 client devices
