  • Keen to see a PCPP list

    • I got it close to 3.3-3.4k on Au PCPP

They use some white label/oem only stuff so I substituted wherever possible. Even with some corners cut you aren't getting this under 3000 range I'd say.

      • Thanks mate, very helpful. Biggest way I reckon to cut some corners is going with an Aliexpress CPU price that saves you about $200 and cheaper 32gb ram saving you another $150, bringing it very close to the pre-built price. Good price nonetheless, as it's a hassle to source your parts and build your own PC for sure.

    • Try refreshing, might be buggy?

      • Yep. Worked the 2nd time. Removing comment

  • good deal but isnt 9800 x3d roughly same price these days, or a small upgrade and you have a winner

    • In terms of same price you getting AliExpress pricing? I know from distys here it's a fair gap distance.

      • CA had it at $599 not long ago. 7800X3D is now what $550?
i dont know you guys and maybe you dont buy high enough volumes but $200 price diffrence is not real right now.

        • Ahhh I get you now. So the difference is the 7800X3D (tray) is significantly cheaper than what your seeing in retail. This is due to AMD wanting to push that SKU by dumping more funding into (clearing stock I guess). So the gap between the two CPUs from what we buy is much larger. I'll speak to purchasing regardless.

          • @Radium PCs: like i say, i dont know your numbers but as you can see, if you do a deal like this or close with 9800x3d (try to get some good deals on your end) you could pick up 20-50 machines at least

            • @botchie: I'll see what I can do, half the comments here demand it. Honestly might be a $50-80 on top for the upgrade (from what I can see).

  • Worth getting the b850 motherboard?

    • Nope.

  • Upvoted just for the coupon code

    • Every upvote 10 million tokens get used at Radium

  • Can you change cpu to 9800x3d should be same price would order it

    • Ditto

    • +1

    • +1 would also buy

    • The pc is already 300-400 dollars cheaper than DIY.

  • Isn't it against Afterpay's merchant terms for a seller to charge any fee for native Afterpay orders, let alone one that large?

    That is a rhetorical question.

And yes, I know it costs a business money but that's not my point. Afterpay's terms with retailers are pretty clear that the customer can't be passed it on for online orders through the normal workflow.

    • Pay with Afterpay and complain to Afterpay. Let OP eat the 6%.

  • Change the CPU to 9800x3d, then may pull the trigger

  • 9800x3d and i will fight the afterpay guy

    • Done. If I make it say $50 with the 9800X3D….would you drop him?

      • Do it, I'll jump in

      • Wait are you serious? Would you actually do this? Because lowk… I want in if so

      • Are you doing it?

        • nah they wont do it, all yap

    • So much violence just to purchase a PC XD

      • It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

      • First time I've ever seen violence threatened on this forum, and I've been here since 2014.

        Shame it's against me. 😂

        • us

        • I'm enjoying the good spirit of all of this ❤️🫶

  • Yeah I would also have bought if this was 9800x3d

  • Make it 9800x3d lil bro

    • Correct I'm 5"11

  • 9800x3d pls

  • This or photon from nebula?

  • Has a 32 bit PhysX wrapper been made yet for 64 bit PhysX?

  • Hi,How long does this promotion last? I tried to place an order, but the configuration I saw is Power - Primary Storage (SSD): 1TB Gen4 Lexar NM990 M.2 NVMe (R: 14500 / W: 7500). Is this correct? It seems different from the configuration above: Primary Storage: 1TB Gen5 Lexar NM790 M.2 NVMe.

  • Can you deliver before end of June (end of financial year?)

Will you have 9800x3d for this deal?

  • 9800x3d or you’re a coward

    • This is the energy we need.

    • No Child Support is a crazy name.

      And my motto in life

  • 9800x3d or else I’ll marry jv

  • 9800X3D and I'll upvote this deal again :)

  • 9800x3D for the predator 5080 build as well please <3

  • Guess I'll hold out for 9800x3 deal a little longer, I was close to climaxing this time.

  • 9800x3D or I am voting Pauline!

  • Epic deal!

    • Not with current cpu lol

  • I didn’t have a great experience ordering from @Radium PCs on a previous deal.

The estimated build time was 15–20 business days, but it ended up taking 35 business days (7 weeks).

The build quality itself was good, but when it arrived I found two issues:
    • the PSU wasn’t the modular model I ordered
    • the SSD had been swapped to a Crucial P310 QLC, which is slower than the KLEVV CRAS C925G TLC advertised.
    • No free gift included which was meant to be a EDIFIER W600BT (Blue) headset.

I contacted their sales team and they offered to have the PC returned so they could swap the parts. I appreciated the offer, but after a seven‑week wait I didn’t feel confident about how long a return process would take.

I wish I could recommend them, and hopefully things have improved since then.

    • This is disappointing to read, ive been looking at buying a new pc and weighing up options..

But given those are basic issues that should be picked up in QC stage, i would be pretty annoyed.

Also 35 business days when 15 to 20 is advertised is unacceptable, i understand these guys are likely very busy with builds, but if you aftertise a certain turn around you should stick to it.

      • Pretty much.

It's been a few months now and I am happy with the PC have had zero issues.

The only reason I went with Radium instead of Nebula (which was the builder my mate recommended) was at the time they were the only builder offering BYO GPU.

Here is the PC, his name is "Walter" with my 9070XT Pure.

        https://imgur.com/a/sI2M67U

    • Jeeez when it rains it pours. Sorry to hear that. And yes you're right any swaps need to be communicated. We do it however I've seen some just get lost in translation, and last minute swaps happen or are "approved". Something we're working on but on sheer number of PCs, plus the fact about 95% of ours PCs don't have this issue it's a rare occurrence.

I know you already spoke to support for the returns, but chuck me a DM I'd love send through some extra peripherals I'll steal from the warehouse. Least I can do.

      • As you said, sheer number of pc's, what has been done to ensure the approx 15-20day build times?

        • Overwhelming majority of PCs we sell are well under that, there will always be outliers.

We just need more builders :)

  • A connoisseur of Ed Zitron, I see

    • I love circular economies.

Brb gotta 50x leverage SK hynix now

  • How does this compare with the Nebula build? I purchased this few weeks ago and waiting for it to be shipped.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/958442

    • Yours is $300 more for the 9800X3D CPU, so not much difference in value.

    • If they can do extra $50-80 for 9800x3d, this deal is much better. Otherwise, Nebula is more valuable with better cpu, silightly better mb, psu and larger case.

    • Nebulous difference if any.

  • 3080ti with a 5700X3D and 32GB DDR4, think its worth the jump up to this deal or should I just hold out for the time being?

    • HODL for the 9800X3D

  • talking about the difference between 7800x3d and 9800x3d in gaming
    1080p: 8% to 10% faster on average
    1440p: 2% to 6% faster.
    4K: 0% to 2% faster.
So it really depends on your Monitor, if you are using a 1k - 2k screen I can see the benefit of a 9800x3d.
If your using a 4k screen, i cant see the value.
i can see if their link + $240 dollars for 9800x3d btw for those who want it

    • a bit expensive to spend $240 to upgrade. I am good with 7800x3d

    • 7800x3d is getting a bit old now, at the end of this year or next year they might release a newer and better processor/CPU that might even make 9800x3d looks a bit old. I mean 9800x3d came out in 2024 and also we already have 9850x3d and 9950x3d since last year

  • 9850x3d?

  • I just ordered one, but replaced the motherboard to Gigabyte B650M- Gaming WiFi Plus, which cost $61. Also, upgrade to "Valkyrie 240mm A240 Black", I think the light may look better than the default one, hope I am right :)

    • was the SSD gen4 or gen5 with your order?

      • Gen4

        • odd. website shows gen4 but ozbargain shows gen5

  • Since AI_HAS_NO_ROI, I will wait for the AI_BUBBLE_BURST_1000_OFF coupon code in the next 4-6 months.

    • I'd love it. But even if it did, won't affect manufacturing pricing in 4-6 months. There is SO much back ordering from not just ai companies it's insanity. The number ain't dropping for at least a year or two.

The sub $150 32GB is dead.

  • So are we getting the 9800x3d?

  • Hey radium, i have a pc cominf and assembly hasnt begun yet. Could i pay the extra for this pc then whatever 9800x3d adds on 🥲🥲

  • So are we getting the upgrade or wht??

  • 9800x3d and I'll buy

  • Hey everyone just an update, sorry I've been unwell so I havn't been able to reply. Thank for you all your messages and orders! We've had an unprecedented number of orders and have completely sold out! While we wait to clear up the backlog, I am trying to yes get the 9800X3D combo with the 5070ti as best as I can for that price, otherwise it might be a ultra cheap 9070XT build…?

    • Porque no los dos?

    • Do the exact same build for the 9070xt

      • I'm interested in the same or similar build with a 9070XT also.

    • Get well soon.

Any chance of free upgrade to 9800X3D for the 5080 build?

    • Interested in a 9070 XT build and was hoping to order something before EOFY.

    • Yes, I am interested in a 9070XT build. Thanks in advance.

    • Interested in both, hopefully during EOFY.

    • Do a 9070xt build

    • We’re ready to proceed with posting the deal, however we’re currently dealing with a backlog that we need to clear as quickly as possible. We’ve been receiving a lot of pressure from customers due to delays, so the priority right now is getting through outstanding orders.

We’ll assess progress by tomorrow and see where we stand.
