With the success of the Feidan 5 Challenger deal I went looking for more and found an extra coupon for the Feidan 6 Challenger. The main differences are the split toe carbon plate and upgraded foam in the Feidian 6 Challenger. It’s tuned more for stability and usability, while the Feidian 5 Challenger feels slightly faster and more aggressive. This one is available in plenty of colours and sizes.

For further savings get an extra 5% off with AliExpress Coins, stack with TCB/SB cashback and potentially Team OzBargain cashback.

  • Apply the coupons LNRU06 and EOFY06 or OZAU08 or FYAU08 at checkout

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate and GST inclusive. LNRU06 is valid for 997 redemptions (globally).

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

AliExpress trade in USD and setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results may result in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate.

  • Nothing ever in my size (US 13) :(

    • Damn bro you're big. Li-ning are always a tighter fit.

      • 198cm affliction :(. Good to know, will keep an eye out

      • Yellow fever!

    • you and me both

      • Green and orange and others are available in 13 and 14.

    • Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry gonna be in trouble then ;)

    • There are 6 colourways available in US13 and US14.

  • Does any store carry these in Aus?

    • Running Warehouse have them, but probably not available in store.

  • How wide are they? I'm normally 2e width

    • these are very narrow in the middle part of the shoes.

  • If you're Li-Ning your shoes are probably different sizes.

  • How are they expecting to break into western markets with only small sizes?

    • well they won't have issues selling women's shoes and that is half the market. half of men are size 10 or under too

    • They already have lol

  • I got the feidian 5 recently and it’s very decent. I watched a few reviews and the general consensus is it’s more versatile than the 6.

Another decent offering from Li-Ning is Red Hare 9 Ultra - this is more of a super trainer shoe for long distance runs. Very good reviews. I got mine from TaoBao for about $80 with free pick up delivery.

    • Red Hare 9 Ultra are like Asics Megablast then?

    • When did you get the Red Hare's that seems cheap as I was finding them for $116 recently…

  • These shoes are fantastic for those who like to run from responsibility.

    Ok, I'll see myself out.

  • Its a pity they don't have shoes for wode feet with arch support.

  • What's the durability like, I've always avoided carbon because I prefer getting a bit of life out of my sneakers?

    • These are runners, not sneakers

      • Sorry bad choice of word from me meant to say runners

  • Managed to buy these for $116.71 aud, or $83.10 usd. Not sure how but there was already a coupon applied at checkout for $10 usd.

  • why everyone running tho, and running from what 🤔

    • From life itself

    • therapy

  • I only opened this deal because of Steph Curry.

  • Any recommendations for a Li-Ning that work with Orthotics?

Watched a few YT vidoes that suggest the insoles are glued tight and can't be removed for a custom insole.

    • Not sure how well they are glued in but I also wear custom insoles. In other running shoes I’ve bought where they are glued in they come out pretty easily after using a hair dryer on them to “melt” the glue.

Should come out in one piece of worst case you’ve got to scrape it out. I learned that the hard way with a pair I didn’t remove until a month or so In - the glue activates under wear/friction once you start running in them. Just remember to size up to fit your orthotic

      • Thanks, might give these a go for those pavement pounding sessions.

Never had an issue with having to size up, other than the Brooks adrenaline I'm running now.

  • Any recommendations on chinese stability running for overpronation that also come in 2E width?

  • Ok just for general.walking?

    • No wouldn't recommend cause of the carbon plate

    • Not for this price lol

    • Honestly best walking shoes are max cushion shoes - New balance mores, brooks Glycerin Max, Nike Vomero Plus, Asics Gel Kayano/Nimbus.

  • Meh!… I'll get x2 Decathlon Kiprun's for that price, x3 if they're on sale

  • I bought a pair of these last week (using mobile app)

  • Bought last Wednesday and already arrived from China, bloody record time!

Ran in them tonight. Fast and fun shoe. Super happy. Will now find a few more models from the Li-Ning brand to try out.

    • Even quicker than posting something from east to west coast of Australia.

  • Any recommendations for Li-Ning trail shoes?
