  • It's a shame the Eletta Explore Titanium never drops in price this much.

  • Have mine for 3ish years and have been using it daily. Great easy machine!

  • saw the upsize from shopback, couldn't resist

  • Milk coffee temperatures are luke warm. I prefer a very hot latte

    • I set high temperature, the coffee come out very very hot

  • This or a Jura C8?

  • Thanks OP. Bought one with 20% SB! Upsized cashback till 10 June.

  • The cashback has been boosted to 22% until midnight!

  • Are these machines easy to clean? Im a newbie thinking of purchasing a fully automic machine , reviews seems all over the place for this.

    • I have this exact one and not really. The milk carafe has 6 parts to wash and I hate it. I
The machine is all plastic and I'm looking for another coffee machine now. But automatic button is amazing

    • I got this one instead with the milk wand earlier this year, as it's easier to clean a milk wand after each use with a wipe down, and I preferred doing the milk myself as far temperature and texture goes. Very happy with it, coming from a manual machine.

      • I agree with this. I just make espressos and a milk wand will make my life easier

    • I don't know what the other guy is talking about, the milk thing disassembles in about two seconds and i just throw it in the dishwasher, maybe they clean it after every single use, but I just fridge it like its intended

      • Second this one, takes about a few seconds, it's twist and open and you wash them. Plus you don't have to wash them everyday, it has an auto clean feature after milk is dispensed

        • You have to twist and open about 4 parts! Auto clean feature is not that dependable after many months if not cleaned in the dish washer. A milk wand is much easier

      • I don't have a dish washer. Plus you have to wash it at some point and 6 parts is such a chore if you really want to be thorough. A milk wand is so much easier

  • Wow OOS

    • Having this in my cart for the last few days and found out OOS when I pulled my trigger. Knew must be someone posting it and here we are.

      • Order first think later, it's got a 30 day free return

        • I were deciding between the Evo and the Explorer back then.

Now they have it back in store but with an increased price. It still shows $999 on the homepage tho. Live chat can't help either.

They seem to run new promotions. $899 for Rivelia that can swap the beans. I still prefer the milk bottle.

          • @bcYield: the website mentions EOFY sale coming soon, so you might get what you need then.

            • @Oh Boy: Don't think they will extend the upsized cashback. Maybe. I'd just grab the Evo if it's decent enough.

              • @bcYield: Even though I have purchased what I want, I will leave the box as it is until I see the EOFY offer. There is a 30 days return so why not

                • @Oh Boy: The banner says the EOFY is on now (up to 47% off) but this machine is now at $1,299 and no free gifts!

                  • @ozbmm: I'm in the same bot, asked chat when it'd be in stock and was told the 999 price ends June 30. When it came back in stock at 1299 I asked if it was a price error and they said they're allowed to adjust the sale price as they see fit essentially.

                  • @ozbmm: On the home page it says $999 so thats weird https://www.delonghi.com/en-au

                    • @Oh Boy: The free gift is back but at 1.3k now.

Should I hold for the next sale or get a Phillip one.

                      • @bcYield: Haven't heard good things about Philips

                        • @Oh Boy: Cheap and does the job for a morning coffee.

  • The deal is back with 25% cb. Got one. Been eyeing since for a month and worth the effort I guess.

After cashback and free gift (say $100), it's down close to about $600. Good buy I assume.

Not sure why this deal has not been promoted.

Also noted that the RRP is down from $1999 to $1299.

    • Wow even better with the 25% CB!

  • Cashback was 27% on Friday.

    • Wow even better!

  • Bought it for 1500 and still happy after 3 years

  • My cashback of $172 which was at 20% has already been paid out under Shopbacks early payout. $777 cash paid with $170 worth of gifts. Pretty good deal.

Very happy with it overall, wasn't a fan of the beans that came along but Inglewood has been working well.

    • Same here!

  • I got the Magnifica Evo Next about a year ago for $560 when it was on discount, it's got the milk carafe like this but only does hot coffees. I've been incredibly impressed. We use it a LOT with Aldi medium beans and it hasn't missed a beat, makes very good coffee so easily. Maintenance is also pretty minimal.

  • Great price for a Mercedes E450 AMG!

  • I have the titanium version (factory second, 800$).
Been running about 6 months so far and hasn't missed a beat. Titanium version makes pretty good "cold" brew too.

Big fan coming from a manual machine

    • This one does cold too, only difference is the wifi part and bean adapt.

      • Yes but not cold drip. I couldn’t justify the extra $600 so went with this deal instead.

        • Yeah very happy with what I paid for this one. For 700, it's a lot of good coffee with no effort.

      • Nah, the titanium actually lowers the brew temp when it does cold brew (comes out around 34 degrees, so not completely cold but far cooler than normal).
Regular just brews at normal temp.
Both do cold milk of course.

It's such a minor thing and not worth the price difference, but couldn't say no given the deal.

  • Giid price for rhose who don't mind the cleaning.

I was so excited until I YT the clean video, OMG!!

My Duo Temp Pro can be clean in one minute before and after brewing….

    • I spend far less time cleaning up after my eletta than I did my Breville DB.
You don't need to clean it after every coffee, most things only need to be done every few days at most.

The more annoying part is having to refill the tank so often because it uses a decent amount of water to self clean all the time.

      • Milk tank you have to clean everyday otherwise it stinks. This milk tank has so many parts is like a Lego.

Simple coffee machine you just soak the steam wand in a glass of water everytime you finish, blow hot water and steam next time when you start which is part of the process anyway. Then wipe and you are ready to go.

        • Completely incorrect.
Not sure how you got all that from watching a 3 minute cleaning video, but having had one for well over 6 months, rinsing the carafes every 3 or so days there is no smell.

You keep them in the fridge….

          • @Syrex-13: Everyone has their own opinion but seems this is already discussed:

            https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/17643939/redir

Many milk tank headers is a 1 to 2 piece design, don't know why this one need so many blocks….

            • @syswong: Literally one person in that thread shares your opinion
Every one else talks about how easy it is.

I've had both. I actually know what I'm talking about from experience here.
It's in multiple pieces to make cleaning easier. It takes perhaps 2 seconds to disassemble/reassemble.

Still, no point continuing this discussion. We agree to disagree

        • Thanks for agreeing with me. Guess everyone is different but it doesn't take me "2 sec" to pull it apart or put it together again the 6 pieces…

          • @pizzacracker: Yes and the video suggest the same, this is OZBE syndrome (OzbargainEgo)…

It is also hard to explain to people when you looked for so long and each one comes with own problem, I mean automatics.

At the end I was surprise that a sub $300 machine can have the cleaning process intergraded into the daily coffee making process. That is a godsend and I never look back.

            • @syswong: @syswong can you post the link of the $300 machine you're talking about? Thanks!

              • @pizzacracker: Breville Duo Temp pro.

Bear in mind it is the entry of entry level in Breville machine. Just suite me because I make 7-Eleven coffee (Junk coffee).

                Check reviews ..

                • @syswong: It's a good machine. I bought a second hand one a few years back before upgrading. It's solid imo

  • For those of you in Sydney, I’d recommend buying it directly from the Zetland showroom. In my case, they beat the price match, gave me a bunch of freebies and also gave me a 4 year warranty as opposed to two because I bought it in store. Not sure if this is normal or not, but I was stoked with my deal.

    • Price beat the 25% cashback?

  • How long did this take to track? Ordered maybe 5 hours ago, no tracking yet.

    • @gotyourback No tracking after 2 days. Ticket raised. Can you please assist?

      • In the same boat, waiting my cashback before I open and set up my machine.

        • I pm'd but no answer yet

Don't think the @ system works

        • Update got a PM back. Suggest PMing if you haven't.

          • @alb3rtt: Have you got tracked yet?

            • @bcYield: It didn't track for me.

Raised a ticket and PMd. Response from both sides is the same - it will take until October before I hear back which is terrible.

    • My cashback didn’t track. Logged a missing cashback claim and submitted invoices and documentation. Support ticket got rejected. I logged a dispute, see how it goes. Reason was simply “Merchant rejected requirements not met”. Asked rep for help, will see how it goes.

      • Any luck? Mine is still under review. No idea they it has been taken so long.

  • Finally bit the bullet here.

  • Missed this. Will wait for another upsized SB cashback before pulling the trigger. Hopefully still $949 when that happens.
