  • Good deal - I personally prefer the crisp white of the 813

  • Good price, $739 next cheapest price I can find

  • Anyone got any recommendations for the strap swap?
(a bit over metal bracelets at the moment)

    • Black leather

    • Highly recommend Aliexpress sellers for aftermarket rubber/sailcloth/FKM straps - don't bother with brand names like Delugs as they usually dropship from Ali anyways.

My personal favourite was an Ivory FKM strap from a seller named Juelong - it went fabulously with my black Speedtimer SSC819

  • Apparently this new model is 100% made in Japan.

    • Made in Japan Seiko means absolutely nothing. The quality control is shockingly bad

  • Seems like the site is still pretty broken well on iPad anyway, Logo is mushed together with the main drop-down tabs. Click on filter by Seiko and says no products found plus no drop down order box to show highest price to lowest etc which is a pretty basic requirement.

  • Any Seiko 45mm and bigger watches?

  • I just bought this for about $820 at Michael Hill, don't think they have price protection 😔

    • They don’t but I guess at least you didn’t pay retail…

    • You credit card may if you used one.

  • Great watch at a very good price point and always in demand.I used to own one and it is excellent in every aspect specially at this price. The reason I sold it was it is too small for my wrists..40mm diameter I would say from memory , the date wheel is too sunk in and you can barely read it specially at this size, the bracelet does not seem to match the casing and the lume is terrible for a seiko even if it is not a grand seiko, I have rarely seen such bad lume on any seiko and their qc is on point so has to be this model..but then I always buy and sell watches so I am a bit critical on small issues.. It is a well rounded, well regarded watch with a known movement if you do not mind the points I listed and the pricing looks great

  • Amazing price. Thanks so much for posting. Been looking at getting this or the 813 and missed out on the DJs deal.

  • I can't believe I am asking this… Where the hell do I enter the coupon code?
All I can see is a box where I can enter the gift card number

    • There's a prompt at the very top of the checkout page, right below the page heading.

      • Thank you! Got it!

    • Thank you, I couldnt find it as well!

  • Damn! I was looking to buy the green speedtmer, but ended up ordering an Attesa on 05/06 from watch direct. This model would have been perfect and $400 cheaper as well :(

  • Bugger, I personally like the SSC911P more…

  • Thanks OP. Purchased.

    • Hey mate, how did you enter coupon to get the price?
When I click on paypal it's saying to authorize a charge for 1150

      • Very top of the page on checkout - it's not overly obvious until you see it.

And I hit the go button too. Nice example for the collection.

        • Thank you! Found it, its a beautiful watch at a great price.

      • Yes. When your checking out its at the top of the page. Once applied the code the price changed to $600.

  • I've got the ssc813 already, why do I have the urge to also get this one :(.

    • You could always sell the 813…seems wasteful imo to have both unless the 813 was bought too high or has sentimental value (that’s just me though)

      • OOS, thank god haha.

  • Nice. Always gets compliments and looks more expensive than it is. But it's heavy, my only critic.

  • website is claude vibecoded

    • Nothing wrong with that if it's properly implemented, but it's just a messy WordPress / Woocommerce implementation. I think any out-of-the-box WooCommerce template would do better than this and just add their own requirements.

header for one can be aligned better.

  • Thanks OP, picked one up. Cheers

  • OOS just as PayPal charged a pay in 4 authorization bleh.
Good deal for those that nabbed one!

  • Damn OOS just as I was about to pay as well!

  • Can you do a deal on the seiko swr093p

  • Hate to be 'that guy'. But price in the title, please.

    • If you check revisions, it was there but for some reason all price referencing has been removed.

  • Is chronograph a fancy way of saying Watch, and an attempt at justifying the price?

    • Nah, the sub dials act as a stopwatch. It’s just a style of watch like dive watches that have 200-300m water resistance, GMT dual zone time or dress watches thinner to fit under the cuff of a sleeve.

My personal favourite chrono is a speedmaster.

  • Shows out of stock… Can anyone confirm

  • Shows OOS on website

  • Goddammit OOS! Absolutely gorgeous watch.

  • Thanks for being in OOS, I wouldn't have contained myself and clicked buy even in this cost of living crisis. But I wonder how many people have bought this to flip it asap.

    • Not worth flipping.

    • It’s not a swatch collab, be lucky to get the buy price covered.

  • getting anymore stock?

  • Thanks god that is OOS. Dont know why I needed extra 1 in 10 watches.

  • It's not OOS but coupon has expired….

  • we are ozbargainers if coupon is expired, the product is effectively OOS.

  • bit bland looking for the price in my opinion.

  • Has anyone received theirs yet?

    • No still waiting. The shop has been transparent and sent a couple of update texts which is good.

    • Yep arrived today.

    • They got overwhelmed by ozb lol.

  • It's been one month and I am still waiting. Anyone else in the same boat?

    • Same here. Haven't had any update for some time either

      • I sent an email and they said

"we typically expect new stock to arrive within 6 to 8 weeks."

so be vigilant and make sure you're ready to do a chargeback should it goes into months without an update.

I would also email them just to show that we have done our part in asking for the status of our order. It just easier and better for the chargeback process if we have shown the initiative following it up with Linda.

        • Thx for the update. I'll email them.

    • I kept emailing them and they told me that Seiko Australia advised them there's no ETA available as they're having production issues with this model. I'm going to Japan in a couple of months and plan to pick it up there instead so I cancelled my order. They refunded me with no issues though.

      • Thanks. Sounds like they might not be able to fulfil the order. This will be the last time I am trying to get a panda then, the seiko universe is against it lol.

Good luck with your panda hunt in Japan.
