For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD

  • Have you got all the colours yet @RichardL 😂

    • For the price, I'll get another black..

  • Great deal and fantastic light.
I have been using one attached to my bicycle and it works well, so bought another.

    • Run time ?

      • Cycle time

        • I would estimate at least 1.5 to 2 hours at a 'medium' brightness setting.

As @Caped Baldy mentioned, if you using the RGB mode, it is a pain to cycle through the colours and modes, but the RGB mode isnt very bright or useful as a 'night light' anyway.

          • @Bmaca: Thanks. What effective distance can you see? Can you see effectively debris that would pierce your tyres on the road etc.

Used to mount two torches to my helmet and run at about 40-50 lumins each or a bit higher to keep batteries going longer.

            • @carrawa: You can definitely see the path/road and any large debris with this light. It’s much brighter than other cheap bike lights that I have used.

The light will automatically reduce to a lower light mode when it has ~1/4 battery life remaining, but I would have my doubts it lasting 3 to 4 hours, unless it was on a low light setting.

You can find more info on the light here
              https://budgetlightforum.com/t/review-wurkkos-hd03-compact-c…

        • I see what you did there … But what if your cycle time was 3-4 hours at night.

    • The UI could be improved. PITA to get it to cycle to the right colour.

  • Cheers OP - got it for $10.05 AUD ($7.09 USD) using codes F33CBU and OZAU04 :)

    • what is your trick? i can only get it as low as USD $8.79 using those same coupons

      • Not sure sorry…I just added those two codes (didn't use any coins etc), and that was the final price it showed.

    • Somehow i ended up at $7.87 AUD with these two codes .. sweet

    • Hey kirt. How do you add more than one promo code? I am using the app if that makes any difference.

  • Got mine for $6.22 AUD for some reason

    • Wow, makes the $12.46 feel like RRP

      • Not at all. It's called the AliExpress New User Welcome discount where Ali heavily discount your first order on many products.

Applicable to new accounts and existing that haven't ordered in 6+ months.

        • Is there any way to tell when this 6 month discount kicks in other than trying to add things to cart?

          • @knobbs: You get a "Welcome deal" banner on products. Try this product incognito and you'll see it.

  • $22.12 is the best i can do

    • That's what I see when I set my currency to overinflated AUD before checkout. Did you go to checkout and apply any codes?

      • Ive tried all 4 it just switches between them, i can add some coins and bring the overall down to 35.05 which im sure they are worth but i cant let myself pay more than needed.

    • I could get it down to $12.82. Seems a bit costly for that price.

    • Switch the currency to USD

  • The eligible items total after discounts (excluding shipping) is below the minimum for this coupon. Check your items marked "Coupons applicable" in the cart.

I get this same error for each of the 3 codes listed on the deal.

If i sign out, the price is $10.48
If i sign in, the price is $15.44 plus “taxes” which makes it $17.87

    Something is cooked Clear

    • Is your currency set to USD? AUD rates fluctuate and don't play nice with coupons when they drift out of minimum spends. Unlike USD that stays the same.

      • Yes USD and tried the app and the website.
All good, i’ve noticed Ali is getting worse with these codes so i’ve only shopped twice in 3 years.

I’ll plant the money in another site and buy a torch haha

    • Me too…

      and

      Tax

      US $1.28
      Total
      US $10.11

    • Can confirm, I'm seeing the same thing. Currency set to USD.

  • With code: F33CBU, I'm getting:

    Subtotal
    US $13.83

    Saved
    -US $5.00

    Shipping fee
    Free

    Tax
    US $1.28

    Total
    US $10.11

    • You're missing a code …

      • used the code, that's the:

        Saved
        -US $5.00

        • and EOFY03 or FYAU04 or OZAU04

      • The other three do not work.

The eligible items total after discounts (excluding shipping) is below the minimum for this coupon. Check your items marked "Coupons applicable" in the cart.

        • I have the same issue

  • Didn't know I needed one, thanks!

  • I always use red/blue strobe on the bicycle. Cars slow down and give you plenty of room

    • how do you mount it on your bike

      • I have others that I mount on my bike. This one clips pretty easily onto my backpack.

    • Just take care Plod doesn't see that. Red/Blue (in fact any) emergency pattern/colour is illegal, unless you ARE an emergency vehicle operator.

      • doesn't apply to bicycles in any state, unless the rules have changed recently. Even if it was illegal it would never be enforced for bicycle riders.

  • Thanks, came out to $1.83 tax only using $7.50 shopping credit.

  • Thanks OP.

But what's an actual use for this?

    • It will light things up when jumping on the ozbargain bandwagon. Get 2 just in case

      • I understand.

But between a standard torch (haven't used one in quite a while), and headlamps (which are so practical as your hands are free), just wanting to see the real world use.

        • according to the video on aliexpress, you can use the strobe light to scare away wildlife?

        • This is far smaller, lighter and cheaper than a headlamp, so it's more convenient around the house and the backyard etc. Clip it onto your hat/shirt/belt and you're good to go, or stick it onto a metal surface etc. I have a headlamp but I rarely use it because I have so many clip lights which do 90% of the job.

I use it when taking the bins out at night, or when taking the pupper out to the yard to do a wee before bedtime — I'm not gonna bother strapping on a headlamp for that. Also handy to have during a blackout.

I'd say it's genuinely the best cheap clip light on the market.

          • @deadpoet: Don't you have senor lights around your house?

            • @Jackson: Sensor lights only work around the house yeah, but some people have houses on massive lands. It takes me 2 minutes to walk from my house to the front gate.

          • @deadpoet: Clip it to Pupper's collar.
Saves going out in the freeze!

        • I've used this whilst working on my car engine/changing headlights. Headlamps still can't light up certain angles. The magnetic back on this little unit means I can pretty much stick/clip it on any surface to light up the exact spot I need.

    • I use something similar to walk from the car to the front door in pitch black, and illuminate the door locks. I clip it on to the belt.

  • got it for $6.76

  • Chris Redfield and Claire Redfield approved!

    • The Redfield bloodline must continue!

  • Can you not just pay directly with visa and get the right exchange rate?

    • You're welcome to skip PayPal with their buyer protection and pay directly with Visa. Hoping that you have one without currency conversion/overseas fees.

      • Yeah I do, I figure that might be the case but just want to check. Can always do a charge back I guess

  • I get the error "For security reasons your request can't currently be processed" when I use the code F33CBU. The other codes apply fine though.

    • Click on the red banner that says "US $3.00 off on US $15.00" underneath the price and "Collect" the "US $5 off Orders over US $13(Select items only)" coupon. It'll auto-apply at checkout.

      • Legend, it worked. Thanks Clear!

  • People are getting it cheaper then the listed price due to Aliexpress shopping credit applied at checkout.e.g.
    Subtotal: US $15.51
    Shipping: Free shipping
    Store discounts: -US $1.55
    Store Coupon: -US $5.00
    AliExpress Coupons: -US $3.00
    Shopping Credit: -US $2.19
    Tax: US $1.13
    Total: US $4.90 (AUD $6.94)

    • Yea but there's also this. Or it could be a one-time use discount like one of my accounts recently had even after using the new/returning user discount (which is what looks you had with the store discount).

  • Order. thanks OP. Also been using AUD on aliexpress but didnt know they took a cut versus buying in USD….

  • Ordered the olive. Thanks OP. Amazon AU has this listed for $46

  • Thanks! US$7.58 - maybe because at first I tried to buy two, then removed one from cart after using codes?

  • This is a fun light, my kids love the "police setting", worth the $12 easily, clip it on them and watch em go….

Adding to that, it has all the unnecessary RGB you could ever hope for, I flippin love it.

  • Cost me US $8.79 including taxes. Used $5.29 of store credit to bring the total down to $3.50, plus a 12% cashback from Shopback.

  • Got it for $11.6 AUD

  • Ordered one for US$8.79 last night, then saw it in the Coins Only page. Coins refused to be applied so I gave up. Came back this morning to see it's USD$6.15 with coins… Fine I'll get one in another colour lol

  • The three codes EOFY03, FYAU04, OZAU04 require minimum spends over $15, and they are throwing errors after applying the first "F33CBU" code. What is the way around this?

    • From what I can't gather if your price on the listing is lower than US$15.51 before checkout then both codes won't stack. Besides the new user discount I'm unsure why others get a lower price.

Also currency to USD for codes to work properly.

      • yep already set to USD. Tried an incognito window and signed up as a new user with a new email and got it down to US$9.11.

  • paid 6.97 (4.92 usd) using F33CBU, eofy03 and some shopping credits from previous team ozb purchases

  • US4.55 + cashback, thanks OP

  • 6000 clicks and over 700 sold so far. Impressive!

  • F33CBU doesn’t seem to be working anymore.

    • Yep :( Only UU00BH is left that takes US$3 off instead of US$5.

  • Good news everyone! Wurkoss were kind enough (not much choice lol) to add another coupon bringing the price back down. Please use R2DP1HC6 combined with one of the other codes in OP.

  • Is solid red light an option on this light?

    • The HD03 has two switches on opposite sides - a flood/throw switch, and mode change button.

Single click from Off - Low (no last mode memory).

Single click from On - Off

Hold from On - Cycles through modes Low > Mid > High

Double click from On - Turbo (single click to Low)

Triple click from On - Strobe mode

Double click in Strobe mode Cycles through Strobe > SOS > Beacon (single click to Low)

Triple click from Off - Lock (triple click to unlock)

Hold from Off - Moonlight mode

Double click from Off - RGB mode (last mode memory)

Double click in RGB mode - Cycles through RGB > Strobe > Red/Blue Beacon > Full Color Flowing > Red Blue Green Flowing > Gradient Meteor Light > Gradient Breathing Light > Gradient Single Light Rotation (single click back to RGB)

Single click from RGB - Off.

Press and hold in RGB mode - Cycles through colour spectrum, release on required colour.

      • Does anyone know if the brightness can be adjusted in RGB mode or is it just one brightness?

        Edit: No

  • Finally a low enough price to buy… Thanks OP.
Got the orange, paid about US $5 inc GST with further discounts with shopping credit and coins.

Play games for shopping credit and check ins for coins.

    • Yep. Even better price with a further $5.50 off thanks to 24% coins discount. Bought two more - thanks @Clear and @sintro!

  • Seems EOFY03 or FYAU04 or OZAU04 are no good for me.
