Should clothes come out of a heat pump drier at least a bit warm?
My gf's Bosch, despite being on the max dry cotton setting, clothes still come out slightly damp after 4hrs and need hanging up before putting away.
We've cleaned all the filters and the sensor. Not sure if it's just the way HP dryers work.- 0
i bought a essatto heat pump dryer in 2021. Nice warm dry towels and clothes for the last 5 years. Never had damp towels before.

they should come out warm (at least in my experience). We’ve got an Onix one and it’s always warm when we take stuff out of the dryer

They should come out warm and dry.
Check the manual for the periodic maintenance that needs to happen, it sounds like it might not be running correctly.

Alrighty. Just discovered the front fan isn't spinning. Although it may be switched on only as reqd apparently.

Is it one that self cleans the condenser? I had one and it worked great until a point where the condenser fins clogged up.
The self cleaning flushes water through the condenser but it does not get it throughly clean so over time the fluff still builds up and clogs it.
I ended up getting a another Bosch but one where you can remove a filter in front of the condenser

Do you happen to remember the model number? I ordered Bosch WQG24201AU 9kg model and waiting for the delivery. What's you're experience with bosch dryer? Like above i keep on hearing the damp clothes so currently in doubt whether to proceed or cancel.

It's a WTR85T00AU/05.
I've only just started using it but it shouldn't take 4hrs to not quite dry a load so I think it has an issue.I wouldn't be too concerned about cancelling. The only time ppl would talk about dryers is when they are playing up.

@scottb721: Sure, thanks for the response. I got it with 5 years warranty during a promotion last month. Hopefully that should cover the potential issues. Are the issues with longer duration was with the new dryer?

Cannot remember Bosch model. But self cleaning was advertised as a feature so if the one you have does not say it then it will be one you have to clean the extra filter
Physical difference between the self cleaning and non self cleaning is that there is no flap in the bottom left corner that you can open. This allows you to access the filter in front of the condenser to clean where as there is no accessible flap in the self cleaning model

At 47KG an enormous amount. Stacked on top of a front load washer or laundry cabinet is much more straightforward
