  • Unbelievable to think that the thick cut Raisin Bread would be nudging $8 at full price these days. Same goes with the English Muffins over $6 a packet. Someone is making good profits at those inflated prices!

  • Thick slice Aldi Cafe Style $3.29 is the duck's guts if you don't mind cinnamon. Slightly cheaper per gram than the thinner Aldi raisin toast.

  • I've stopped buying supermarket raisin toast and muffins because the price has doubled in the last year or so.

    I occasionally make raisin bread myself in the breadmaker which ends up being thicker and more filling - most raisin toast from the supermarket feels like I'm just eating air.
