  Unbelievable to think that the thick cut Raisin Bread would be nudging $8 at full price these days. Same goes with the English Muffins over $6 a packet. Someone is making good profits at those inflated prices!

  Thick slice Aldi Cafe Style $3.29 is the duck's guts if you don't mind cinnamon. Slightly cheaper per gram than the thinner Aldi raisin toast.

  I've stopped buying supermarket raisin toast and muffins because the price has doubled in the last year or so.

  I occasionally make raisin bread myself in the breadmaker which ends up being thicker and more filling - most raisin toast from the supermarket feels like I'm just eating air.
