  • Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories, $2 SIMs.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any coupon codes not advertised on our platform.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards, vouchers, or store credit for partial or full payment. Cashback is also ineligible on purchase of gift cards.

  • Costco is better if you need to activate after 30 days
And already have a Costco card
Comes to $189 after gift card and you can activate till next year

    • Hm I need two sims.

    • Costco boost sim is $219 with shop card … it
Wont goto $189 … may be i m wrong can you confirm with breakdown of your calculation .

  • Wish I waited. I literally just got back from Officeworks to get one of these. PB got me to $230.

    • How did you PB at 230$? It shows 250$ on their website as well

    • I paid $250 minus $40 cashback via Shop back just before this was posted.

      Let's hang our heads

      • I reviewed SB too, however, be aware - I'm not sure the cashback is valid.

The SB exclusions list for Boost includes, "Store promotions, discounts or special deals unless otherwise stated".

The $42 SB Cashback is on the $300 Prepaid SIM, however, Boost discounted the $300 Prepaid SIM to $250. Shopback does not 'otherwise state' anywhere (that I can find) about cashback on the discounted $300 Prepaid SIM.

TCB doesn't seem to have this same exclusion.

Hope I'm wrong for your arcticmonkey.

  • My last cashback didn’t track, I submitted it manually. It’s been four months and I still haven’t had any updates

    • Unfortunately missing cashback claims may take several months to be paid. The lack of response or updates is normal for missing cashback claims. You would have received an email when you lodged the claim.

TopCashback does not add the tracking manually. You won't see it in the "Earnings" page initially. After the claim is paid, then you will see the transaction in your account.

There is usually no response during the waiting period. TopCashback will contact you if they need more info.

Cashback for tracked Boost orders is usually paid in about 3 months. Estimated payable for tracked Boost orders is up to 15 weeks. Missing cashback claims take a longer time to be paid.

There is nothing more to do and just wait for the claim to be processed which could take several months.

      • You can check on the progress of your claim or add further info here.

      • If you have any queries, please contact TopCashback support here.

      All the best.

      • I just used my passport and changed from credit to debit card and it worked. Thanks :)

  • Damn, very tempting but actually need this offer next FY. hopefully we will get a repeat after 1st july

    • You need to activate it within 30 days, the new FY is in less than 30 days sooo it could possibly work

      • Yes, but to tax deduct it for next FY, i need to puchase if after 30june (will be using it for work and personal)

        • Ah apologies, that would make more sense.
Well it doesn't have an end date so I guess cross your fingers and hope it lasts?

        • This offer ends on 29th June 11pm AEST (unless Boost changes or cancels it early). I checked with the rep.

Boost seems to offer these offers regularly so there could be another offer later.

        • Have a family member buy one and sell to you on July 1

  • Thanks OP I've been holding out for a Boost 12month SIM deal close to EOFY!!!

  • "Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories, $2 SIMs"

does this mean no cashback if convert the physical sim to esim?

    • Obviously you'd do it after the cashback lands

    • @ceepee Cashback is on the purchase of the physical SIM only. You can convert to eSIM after you have received the physical SIM. Activate the physical SIM first, insert and then convert to eSIM.

  • I've had both the Boost 365 and the Telstra 365 (currently on Telstra), theoretically they should be the same (or very marginal in their difference) but would there be any reason to pay extra to stay with Telstra versus going for this?

    • Telstra seem to have started de-prioritising Boost customers on the network, it's not as good as it used to be. Still far better than the Telstra wholesale MVNO's (Aldi, Belong, Woolies etc).

      • Yeah this was my thought, not sure if the trade off is worth paying an extra $66 or so dollars a year (factoring in the Costco gift card) + having to port out and back in since I'm currently on Telstra versus just straight porting to Boost (they still let you go Telstra > Boost right?)

      • sad if true! is there any evidence or just noticed a drop off?

  • Is anyone having trouble checking out, I'm getting the SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG message

    • There seem to be better success of purchasing using a debit card, Passport as ID and/or typing your address manually.

If you are unable to pay due to "SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG" message, please try the following suggestions:

      • Use a debit card (instead of credit card).
      • Use your Passport as ID (instead of driver's licence).
      • Use a different email.
      • Type your address manually.
        (i) Type any address and choose "I can't find my address" as shown here.
(ii) Add your address manually in the "Address" section shown here. It's below "Delivery address".
(iii) Vary a little e.g. St instead of Street, Ave instead of Avenue etc.
      • Vary your name e.g. Pete instead of Peter, Bob, Rob instead of Robert etc.

If you experience any issues at the checkout page, start all over again to ensure tracking. Click the pink button at TopCashback through to Boost website again.

      All the best.

    • After several attempts I managed to bypass the error by setting the following Safari settings in iOS to off:
      - prevent cross-site tracking
      - hide up address
      - block pop-up

Ordered and tracked via the TCB app.

  • Anyone have experience with what happens if your plan finishes and you’re still overseas? Could you port to another provider whilst overseas? Or stuck renewing with a Boost $300 plan?

    • You can port anywhere, as long as you can receive the confirmation SMS - which you can for free when roaming.

  • Hi I m currently using esim boost mobile expired next week, how can I get this offer if I am not a new customer? Thanks

    • Port out then back in. I normally just order the cheap $5 Aldi sim to port out too then port back in to boost and you are deemed as a new customer as you’re porting back in

      • So even porting out for a day and opt in will be considered as a new customer?

        • Yep! I port out at night before I go to bed, and port back in the next morning

        • Port out and in within minutes would be considered a new customer.

          • @trixieb: Thanks. One more question please. they need phone no. And driving licence no. when buying online. I am helping my partner to buy. Does it affect his activiation? He is current user and will opt out with Aldi.

  • Anyone know when this ends? My 12months with boost ends 23rd July.

    • Buy from Costco

    • This offer ends on 29th June 11pm AEST (unless Boost changes or cancels it early). I checked with the rep.

Boost seems to offer these offers regularly so there could be another offer later.

  • This one is still better value - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/961352

    • They are different network - Telstra versus Optus.

Optus has a history of not paying cashback.

    • Boost is really good ,they are under Telstra directly, not Telstra wholesale.

    • I am on this Optus plan, their network sucks, I am not going to do that again.

    • optus full network should be better than boost on Telstra network especially as above users describe secondary preference like all wholesale providers

  • What's the cheapest SIM to port out to and back again to Boost?

  • How does TCB and/or Boost Mobile track the activation? Is it based on email or SIM serial number?

    • It would most likely be the SIM serial number.

The person purchasing the SIM can be different to the person activating the SIM.

  • I orderrd a physical sim which I am using this as a "recharge" as I am currently with boost, should I port out and back in to get cashback?

    • For cashback, you would need to port out into another provider (that is not Boost) and then port back into Boost.

      T&Cs:

Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges

      • Thanks for confirming, will do

  • does boost allow plan pause?

Im keen to get off Felix but I need a carrier that will allow pauses while OS

also do you have to activate before June 30th or just purchase the sim?

    • In the post:

SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase

      • so I can buy on June 29th and activate July 10th?

        • Yes.

  • These guys never honor there cashback even though ive provided all the evidence

  • How long after the purchase is it taking for you guys to get the tracked notification in topcashback ? Been a few days and I’m getting nervous

    • Tracking for Boost is usually very quick within 15 minutes.

If still untracked, please submit a missing cashback claim here.

Please see my reply regarding missing cashback claims with TopCashback here.

  • This is scam
    Top cash back scam

    • I got paid out by TCB for two Boost purchases already this year, just about to buy a third (for family)

  • I am getting this error on boost website

Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.

    • Please see my reply here.

      • Thanks. That's crazy.

      • Please ignore, I got the order from PC. It is also tracked

  • doesn't say only for new customers so current customers could get this?

    • For current customers, you would have to port out of Boost into another provider and then port back into Boost with your existing number. You cannot recharge for cashback.

      T&Cs:

Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges

  • Can i use this to port my existing number over from belong?

  • Does anyone know the cheapest port out deal?
I used to do aldi but the $5 Sim doesn't exist anymore.

    • I always use the Telstra $2 Prepaid SIM. Out and back in within a few mins.

      • No issues with telstra being the same network?

  • I tried to purchase but seeing error at the end of order.

Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.

  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase

  • Can I essentially use this as a reload for my existing boost plan, and port my number? Or will I need to port out and into this new plan

    • For cashback to be eligible, you would have to port out of Boost into another provider and then port back into this Boost SIM with your existing number.

Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges

      • Cheers

  • Thanks OP, tracked in 5 mins.

  • website seems to be not working, have gone through check out 3 times with no success

    • Replied here.

      • tried all of that, still doesn't work.

manually typed every number, tried a debit card, passport etc, nothing beats the bug they've got.

Absolutely crazy process, can't believe how hard they've made it…

        • I was blocked as well with Boost recently and also Telstra previously. Managed to order Boost 28-day SIM last night after trying unsuccessfully last month, last week and the day before.

        • Me too. Tried several times….error message at end. Tried all the suggestion here to mitigate. No luck. Shouldn’t have left it until the last day I guess :(

  • Tracked so quickly. Thanks OP!

  • Mine didn't track, I purchased before the deadline. Now I have to mess around with the missing cashback claim.
Sim was delivered quickly by Boost.

All my other past purchases on TBC have mostly tracked previously.

  • Today's my last day to activate for this cashback. And the Whole Telstra Network goes done… Just my luck…

  • I bought this and did a stupid. Didn't realise my phone transferred into my partner's name when we bundled my mob with the house internet (which was in their name). Yep. Just didn't think about it.
Activation and order has been cancelled as I entered my details in the activation and apparently nothing of significance can be altered after the SIM activation order is placed (ie I can't shift the house bundle into my name or change the sim activation details to be into my partner's name). Just putting this out there in case it helps anyone else.
