        Sony have lost the plot with their game pricing. Every previous generation of PlayStation had a "Platinum" or "Hits" or whatever they called it at the time range where the old games got a permanent price cut. Now with this generation, even launch games like Demon's Souls are still at the same price point they released at nearly 6 years ago. Even when they go on sale it's never more than 50% off (and usually not even that much).

        Which is fine, there are other games around that do get decent sales so I buy those instead. But it does mean I've passed over a few first party games this gen (Astro Bot being one of them) that I would have taken a chance on previously when they were cheap.

      Very, Very, Very, Verrrrrrryyy-Highly-Unlikely. (For this particular game)

      Sony's Junk is tiny at recent 1st-Party quality titles (such as this one) to give away without $$.

      I'd like to see them make it available on PS Plus though - it's deservedly a great time. (enjoyed it way better than Mario Odyssey)

        I fully understand the newsletter part, and I bought this game from Target (at a Victorian store close to where a friend lived) when it was on sale for $59, from the exact post you linked to. But could you please explain to me the 4.5% discount from Macquarie? Do you need to be a Macquarie Bank customer? I had a Macquarie account, but they closed it down.

          Yes, a Macquarie bank account is required.

          There is a ‘marketplace’ section in their mobile app - where you can purchase gift card to select merchants. Targets’ gifts card are sold @4.5% off.

    Bought one of these today. Tried to get it by buying a 5% off big w gift card from RAA but my $100 visa gift card from one of the finder promos couldn't be used to buy gift cards :(

    Man at $59 this is a good deal you guys. It's a banger end-to-end, at least as good (if not better) than the comparable Mario experience.

          I wouldn't put the original anywhere near a Mario game. Still holding out to get this one as people seem to like it quite a bit.

        It's indistinct in quality to Playroom - which was a tech demo.

        This is closer to the PSVR1 Astrobot experience, but with far more diversity, polish and good ideas.

        If you're comparing it to the tech-demo you're not giving it a fair go.
