I was looking for a good quality Micro SD card for my dashcam and found this card on decent price. Amazon is selling for $108.09

    Pretty sure you don't want an extreme pro card for a dashcam, you want an endurance card.

      Negative, motorcycle dashcam, car dashcam, all use Extreme without a single issue.

        Should work fine if speedy enough but life will be reduced if u drive a lot or use it for 24/7 recording like security cams. Driving to and from work, security cameras that do event based recording are all fine. Continuous recording is where we need endurance cards.

    The pricing went up a lot recently. Still a decent regular occurrence deal for 1tb is around $170-180, 512GB should probably be around half of that although 80-90 for 512 is a bit hard to find.
    $90 for 256GB is not a deal.

      With the current pricing of memory and cards (or hard drives) it is. I paid $60 for one of these 2 years ago (identical) and another 2 weeks ago for $95, but now anything less than $100 is as good as it will get. Most were selling this for over $120 two weeks ago.

          Well, why care about price per GB if I'm using it in, say, a DJI Mavic Mini and I'm never going to get near 1tb because I transfer the recordings off regularly in case the drone disappears?

          No point paying $50 for 750gb I'm not going to use.

          Could you perhaps share where you can get a genuine SanDisk Extreme PRO 1TB V30 A2 U3 UHS-I MicroSDXC for anywhere near $170-180 (and I am not asking about a probably fake card from some random seller on Aliexpress either - I am talking about a genuine and preferably Australian sourced card) ?

          Even Centrecom has these for $399 which is more than 4x the price of 256Gb. Digidirect is almost $600.

          I am sure you could probably finder slower or inferior (fake) cards for your price, but if you can supply a link for this Extreme Pro 1Tb at that price, please share - because that would truly be a deal.

    Yeah you need an endurance card. Check Amazon too. They have some good deals at times. I think for me 64gb is enough as it overwrites and I don’t anything from past drives as long as no incidents.

      The biggest problem with Amazon is that the quality is a lottery. People buy cheap fake cards from dodgy eBay or Aliexpress sellers, and return those instead of their genuine card to Amazon, and Amazon just resends out whatever stock they have so there is a reasonable percentage of Amazon buyers who get fake cards. Read the 1 star reviews.

    I’m guessing it’ll take at least 2-3 years before prices come back down again. But I doubt they’ll come back to last year’s prices

    SanDisk has to be the best microSD card brand.
    Never had a single issue with it for a decade.

    I use this extreme on my dashcams (motorcycle and car), they just work.
