I had one of these before. It was alright for listening to music, but that's about it. The microphone was terrible outdoors and it couldn't handle wind or background noise at all. If you plan to use it for calls, I'd give it a miss. It just wasn't worth it.

I picked up a unit over the weekend. The active noise cancellation (ANC) performs well, and I have been using it regularly at the gym. I have not used the earbuds for phone calls, so I am unable to comment on call quality at this stage.

yeah, the ANC seems better than the previous gen, though they weren't too bad either. I lost them thus I got these.
