the base game is cheap but the addons cost
You really don't need the add-on's unless you're pumping thousands of hours into the game, in which case it's great there is DLC available. The base game is one of my favourite racing sims and has a slew of excellent tracks. It's only once you know the included tracks like the back of your hand that you may want some more - in which case you can buy them piecemeal.
Highly recommend for this game alone.

Parking Garage Rally Circuit is a blast. Retro vibes but very skill based. Super addictive trying to improve your personal bests.
Great on Steam Deck too, barely uses any battery and is well suited to quick pick-up-and-play sessions.
