Decent deal when you consider you get 10% back in gift cards.
For $50 extra there is a deal with a slightly better CPU: https://www.harveynorman.com.au/acer-nitro-v-15-15-6-inch-co…

This one is a decent deal currently.
do you think the 5060 it's worth the extra ~$200?
I do prefer the design of the laptop with 5060 as it's a 16 inch screen with taller aspect ratio. Both 5050 and 5060 has the same vram amount, so in terms of gpu, the 5050 is a better value for me. But to me, I prefer the design of the laptop with 5060.
@Knightchampion: Seems like a good mix of specs however I'm struggling to believe Acer could ship a laptop that consumes more power than its power supply can deliver (if this review is to be believed):
"… The only issue is power supply is only 135W while graphic and CPU consume 180w in full power mode - as a result, in full power gaming mode, laptop is using it's battery when plugged…"
Reckon it legit consumes more juice than the PSU can provide?
@PowerfulOwl: I have the acer nitro V16 with a 4060. If you play games with a laptop preset above balanced (performance and turbo, balanced is the defualt), the laptop will drain battery even with the charger plugged in. On balanced mode, it will also drain battery but much more slowly. Can play around 6 hrs for the battery to drain from 100% to 30% with the charger plugged in. When battery hits 30% performance will tank significantly.
However, it doesn't really affect me much as I don't really play games for longer than 6 hrs at a time. If you play at performance or turbo preset, the battery will drain from 100% to 30% in around 3 hrs when playing games. This laptop is not really suited for long gaming sessions.
Bargain!
Bought the 4060 version a few years ago and that nitro v is still going strong so fits is a pretty good deal i think.
Any RTX5060 or 5070?
