iPhone Air 256GB $83.16/Month with Optus 60GB/Month $39/Month Unlimited Plan for 12-Month & Bonus $200 Visa eGift Card @ Finder

90

Exactly the same as this deal, but now $6 a month cheaper as part of their EOFY deal.

$39 a month for 60GB is for the first 12 months only, so the deal is only really worth it for 12 months. Phone is $83.16 a month on top. Works out to $122.16 a month, $1,465.92 total, then less $200 cashback.

For the Android inclined, the new Motorola Signature is $750 + $39 a month, also a great price.

  • edit, i didn't read your description fully :-)
    Good deal though

  • Why is thumbnail 16 Pro?

  • so after 12 months can just quit plan? and phone is all paid off? can i end plan early and pay out phone with discount or is there some penalty?

    • Yup, cancel after 12 months and you own the phone. If you try pay it out early you lose at least some of the bonus $300 discount though.

If you cancel early, pay up to $1,299 for device (256GB model) plus your chosen plan costs.

Not sure if the $300 discount is prorated though.

    • If you go with 24m plan, monthly device cost is $54.09. Optus applies credit $12.51. So, if you cancel after 12m, you need to payout 54.09 x 12 = $649.08.

  • (83.16+39) x 12 = 1465.92
    less 200 cash back = 1265.92

    • I can't add. Sad trombone noises.

    • Seems great considering its with a phone plan

  • The phone is 1299 at jb hifi or 1169 with discounted gift cards. You are paying 999 for it on this plan for 12vmonths plus 39pm for 60gb. The finder $200 applies to the yearly prepaid deals too I think so u may just be better off grabbing a prepaid 1yr for the finder bonus and if u really want this phone grabbing it from jb hifi. Plus if u forget to cancel then u r up for more.

    • Couldnt find any details about $200 available for yearly prepaid plans. Do you have any link?

    • You would need a $96 12 month plan or cheaper for this to be cheaper in total

      from @go2home

      (83.16+39) x 12 = 1465.92
      less 200 cash back = 1265.92

      so 1265.92 - 1169.1 = $96.82 for the phone plan

  • How? It offers that price for 36 months? Not for 12

    • Filter to the iPhone Air and 12 month plans only, it shows each of the plans separately for some reason.

  • Signed up for this with the $170 cashback yesterday… 😮‍💨

I figured it's not bad, basically the plan included for the current sale price.

    • Which cashback?

      • shopback. They had $170 cashback on optus plans up until yesterday

        • Oh wow so you stacked both?

          • @JoeOz: Nah just the cashback, I would have preferred this but 🤷

        • I don’t think you can stack both

  • Airy bil iPhone Air.

  • I am already on a negotiated rate postpaid plan with optus at $30 a month. Does anyone know if it would be possible to add the iphone air to this plan and get the $200 gift card?
