    Asked this on the last post… why do these WhiskyMofo deals get posted with the pre-voucher price ($89 here) instead of the post-voucher price ($64), we had at least one OzB'er purchase at the higher price without using a voucher. Is there a posting rule about this?

      I think the Mofo's don't like referal codes shared online and OzB mods trying to keep things quiet. Only takes 2secs to speed read a description for code info.

          I bought a bottle earlier in the week, grabbed a random code to score the $25 off.
          Added my code into the randomiser, by the end of the day I had $125 in credit so ordered another bottle for very little money

    Re: shipping

    If you are ordering whisky then please add a few days to the timeframes above. All bottles are shipped as-is and sourced from around the globe. Due to the nature of international transit, minor scuffs, dents or label imperfections may occur and are not considered faults.

    Also to note, there is no timeframe provided for WM to get your order ready, only once the order has shipped is when they suggest 2-3 days delivery to capital cities.

    I made an order on the 7th under the first deal and the Shop app is showing no updates. I would suggest they are super busy with multiple posts on OzB, so don’t assume you’ll be sipping your booze on the weekend. Expect delays.

        Mine was shown 160+ times. I suspect it's VinoMofo themselves running a script to find out which codes have been shared here so they can cancel credits.

    What is this 55% ABV stuff? Whats the difference? Are there different types of the same whiskey?

      55% is straight from the barrel (cask strength). 40% is the same original 55% ABV just diluted down to 40%, so yes technically it's a different type of the same whiskey.

      Cask strength gives you a much more concentrated flavour profile and the ability to tailor the dilution to your own preference. Most people will have it on the rocks or with a few drops of water.

      Not an expert as this singleton whiskey (from the last deal) was my first cask strength whiskey. I really enjoyed the singleton though

    I created an account. Added Whisky to cart. Generated code, and attempted to enter it in the cart/checkout window under Discounts/Gift Cards.
    I get either "Coupon does not apply" or "X coupon is not valid"

        seems like it. I just checked after referring a few people the other day via the randomiser and it has set me a new code. I had to put my new referral code into OzB.

          Interestingly, my code has been displayed at least 150 times so far, yet hasn't regenerated yet - or resulted in additional credit (just the once, which is still appreciated).

    Reading the feedback here I tried a few codes on different whiskies.
    What I found is if you apply the code on an item $100 and above the code works. Or 2x item lower than $100 so the cart total is above $100 the code works. When your cart total is below 100 the code invalid etc error pops up.

    I suspect they might have changed the rules of this $25 discount perhaps due to large number of orders received.
    Still a good discount if you're after a bottle that's $100 above. YMMV.

      yes just checked , i tried the code and its valid if the cart value is over 100 (i added 2 bottles to check) and when i removed 1 bottle the discount disappears and when i try to add the discount it gives me error. The discount becomes active again when i add the 2nd bottle again

    From the terms and conditions now:

    The referral codes and welcome credits cannot be used in conjunction with any of our club subscriptions. Referral and welcome credits may only be applied to orders with a minimum cart value of $100.

      What date did you order your bottles?

      I ordered 3x bottles under the same order number on the 7th and the shop app shows ‘waiting for details’ which I’m assuming means the order hasn’t moved.

    It seems to work if there's over $100 in the order but it still only discounts $25
    This makes two bottles $153
    That's $76.50 per bottle which is a lot is a lot if I dont like it
