    It's not in bad condition, a few external wear and scuff marks as expected, there's a wear/scuff mark across the middle of the screen where the screen touches the space bar when it's closed, that's a bit annoying, if there's any background light it stands out, (I've seen this keyboard screen wear issue before on a 5300 2in1).

    This one was originally shipped from Dell with the larger 63Whr 4-cell 15.2v battery, that's been replaced with a new aftermarket 42Whr 3-cell 11.4v battery, it comes up as 41,165mWh… It'll be interesting to see how the aftermarket battery ages.

    Playing a 720p MP4 video through WIFI with the screen at about 70% brightness it ran for 4 hours from 100% charge down to 15% charge (below 30% charge battery saver was on).

        I'm a bit undecided, there aren't too many good Latitude refub deals around at the moment so it is what it is.. It is 'as described' which is good, but value for money I think it's a bit underwhelming..

        I purchased this for a friends partner, she hasn't had a PC/lappy before so I'm sure she'll be content with it… Personally I'm unsure if I would be content if it was for myself, my current lappy is a 7390 2in1 I purchased late 2023 for $305, great condition, 87% battery, it's still going strong, it makes the current deals seem a bit lacklustre… (my 7390 with an aging battery has over double the battery life, playing videos over wifi for 8 hours takes the battery from 95% down to 25%, it's pretty good compared to this 5320 with a new small battery)

        Battery health is often an issue with Dell refubs, being listed on eBay as 'refurbished' they have to have at least 80% health, someone in the last deal got one right on 80% and claims very poor battery life, the one I got does seem to have a new aftermarket battery, but it's the smaller capacity battery.. It is what it is and it's the gamble you take with refubs…

      To add to the above half-arsed review, I did another battery life test on this new 42Whr battery:

      3hr10min - 99% down to 15%, playing a 1080p Youtube vlog fullscreen… 60% screen brightness, 'Energy Saver' set to always on.

      I'm not sure I'd recommend this for someone that needs to rely on battery-life, a whole work or school day, or the likes.

      I've been told to avoid touch screens for Linux distros. The driver support might not be available.

      I prefer to stick to eBay Plus 'Refurbished' listings, if I don't have eBay Plus at the time I pay the $5 to get it for a month to make the purchase…

      With eBay Plus Refurbished you're guaranteed of an 80+% battery and if there's any issues at all you can just print out a return shipping label and send it back for free, it's all very simple, you don't have to waste time going back and forth with a retailer that really doesn't want to take it back…

      I've sent back a few for things like, totally stuffed battery, badly damaged screen, broken MicoSD slot, slogged out USB-C charge port, broken keyboard key, damaged HDMI port, and wrong specs, a lot of refubs aren't checked over too well…

      ALWAYS check everything with a refub when you first get it, do a Windows Battery-Report and check every port, spec, and feature, make sure you get what you purchased…

    It's common for these models to have a cellular modem in them as well as they're usually ex-govvie, do you know of these models have that as well?

      The one I received doesn't have an LTE mobile broadband modem… I suspect if some of them did have modems they'd probably sell them under a separate listing because they usually fetch a better price..

    Used one of these at work for a couple years. Solidly built, lots of ports, decent speakers. Runs hot but not fan noise, performance was ok back then.

    We are getting rid of these in our department 2000 of them (end of life). I wasn't a fan of them. They aren't terrible… but they can be pretty loud. We had the touch screen ones. But if you just do light stuff on them it will be fine.
