  • Great price, I would get but I already have neobuds pro 3 , and planar doesn't suit bass heavy preferences like I have…

    • Maybe for earbuds but planar headphones are the best for bass. Other drivers either lack bass completely or have distorted bass that people think means better bass. I only say it might be different because of the size of the planar in the earbuds.

      • Yeah I never used headphones hate them so Def sticking to dual driver setup for me (balanced armature and the other driver type which escapes me in name)

Regardless, decent brand and has never failed me over the years with their products

      • Planars have nicer, more controlled and deeper bass, but they lack the bass impact that dynamic drivers have. Neither is perfect.

        • Dynamic drivers that's the one I was meaning. Yea true, just comes down to preference I suppose at end of the day

        • The bass impact is just distortion.

          • @HaydosK: Yes, I'd take the full spectrum accuracy and complete subbass extension of planars over dynamic drivers any day.

      • Thats surprising. Most of the planar magnetic earphones and headphones I used lacked in bass.

        • Yes because they were probably tuned that way. Just like for all driver types the tuning will be the main factor in sound quality. Anyway there are planars that have bass so you just got unlucky I guess.
