  • It's actaully not that cheap though :( Still cheaper though, thanks for posting OP.

    • In the current market it's not bad but yeah it's not good.

        • I mean it does come in a cool enclosure but I'm pretty sure there are some really good hdd deals sometimes

        • Yeh, it was a good find though!

        • Oh god, this sentence gives me flashbacks to Steven He…

  • AAA games these day require ssd though.

      • Lots of game like starfield, cyberpunk 2077 require ssd to play without long time loading or stuttering. Prevent Pop-in objects, missing texture, etc

        • It might enhance the experience I'm not denying that but it isn't required. They are 2 different things. Even ps5 games which were sold on needing to be played on an SSD boot and play almost flawless on a HDD on a jailbroken PS5.

          • @HaydosK: Yep required so people don't complain games take too long to load

          • @HaydosK: What if it’s not jailbroken, like the majority of consoles?

            • @smartazz104: that's only needed to bypass the restrictions on the ps5. just an example

  • Any spec for the hdd inside smr? Rpm?

    • According to AI it uses this drive:
      ST5000LM000
      2.5-inch 15mm height
      SATA III 6Gb/s
      5400rpm
      128MB Cache
      SMR

      • $42 a Terabyte,5400 rpm urrghhh

      • SMR is the worst possible drive for gaming. But who knows, might even be faster than SSD with those sick RGB.

  • Thanks, eva elfie storage sorted. 8tb from last deal is half way full now.

    • Me: what's an eva elfie?
      Google search.
      Me: oh.

Buys a Seagate Firecuda Portable Game Drive

      • Me: Wow I guess a new generational game is coming out bringing people back into the pc gaming world.

        googles search

        deletes history.

        lol

  • Shuckable?

    • I think you can.

According to AI it uses this drive:
      ST5000LM000
      2.5-inch 15mm height
      SATA III 6Gb/s
      5400rpm
      128MB Cache
      SMR

  • They really start disappearing from stores once listed here, don't they?

  • you know it's "gaming" because of the RGB lights

  • The RGB makes your games save faster. Source ‘trust me bro’

  • Price beat at Officeworks $198.55

  • Look like oos

  • How long till cables start coming out with RGB lights so the entire pc can be a giant clownfest.

  • Tried to price beat in Officworks but they don't allow it since there are no BigW stock within the state.

  • There's some stock in bunbury.. fyi..
