Harvey Norman currently has the Apple iPad Air M3 11" Wi-Fi + Cellular 128GB (Space Grey) for $797.
Officeworks price beat brought it down to $757.

Or if they’d just go back to $739/$749 like last November
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/ipad-air-11-2025-m3- 2

Wanted to get myself a birthday gift but couldn’t wait till November 😅
I was actually eyeing the iPad Air M3 WiFi for weeks (not this one), but somehow this deal ended up being cheaper than the base WiFi model. No regrets though, just jumped on it early!- 1

Oh I missed this was the with cellular one. Might try for a price beat in the morning then
- 1

@rpb: most people don't need cellular
which means buying another data plan..whereas you can just do personal hotspot with your phone..
- 2

@pinkybrain: Yeah I know. That’s prob why there’s stock to clear below the price of wifi only.
But I have a use case.- 0

@rpb: what your use case?
do you buy separate data plan for the ipad?
also the cellular models uses more battery than wifi model
- 0

Yeah that was the last piece at the Officeworks I went to :)
Might be worth trying customer care though, sometimes they’ll still honour a deal once it’s back in stock, give it a try. I used this stock checker link and it actually helped a lot: https://officeworks.youinstock.com.au/search/IPAM3EC12G/vic- 0

it's 2026. any mobile device with a 60hz screen should have a capped price of 500
- 6

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted. 60hz screen is just pain to look at
- 0

mostly apple Fan boys I guess. trying to justify their Cook daddy's greediness

Yes absolutely, especially now that the Pro has a more high-end tandem OLED display, the Air should at least get the ProMotion trickle down (similar to how the base iPhone does now). .
My guess is this probably isn't far off.
From memory, iPad is not doing well financially - aside from the base models which are used in schools…etc., iPad would be the worst revenue line for Apple (behind iPhone, Wearables, Mac).
Also just see less people using them, and my guess is iPad Pro probably sells terribly and would sell even worse if features trickled down to the Air.

Apple waits a long time before they give any significant upgrades to their devices..
that's how they can milk their customers every year.Just look at how long it took before iphones got 120hz.
They also do this to get people to buy the more expensive model..
They could have put 120hz on the Air many generations ago, but did not so that people who want 120hz must get the pro model. From memory, iPad is not doing well financially - aside from the base models which are used in schools…etc., iPad would be the worst revenue line for Apple (behind iPhone, Wearables, Mac).
I think airpods is a huge revenue stream for them.
Also probably there most profitable in terms of the materials cost. Also just see less people using them, and my guess is iPad Pro probably sells terribly and would sell even worse if features trickled down to the Air.
Probably more to do with the maturation of the market..
People still using their older devices longer..Also most people still mainly use tablet for simple daily things that is not demanding..
-web browsing
-youtubeOnly reason why people get forced to upgrade is because the apps no longer worker with the version of the ios/ipad OS (which is no longer upgradeable)..

Consumer realises different model lines at different price points get different features.

Consumer realises different model lines at different price points get different features.
not just that but this video explains "price ladder" strategy which Apple uses targeted pricing to slowly nudge customers into spending more than they originally intended
- 1

This is spot on. I still daily my 2017 iPad Pro 10.5 and would STILL pick it over an Air M3 simply due to that 120Hz display. 60Hz in 2026 is wild. Those downvotes make it pretty clear why Apple is able to get away with this

I managed to get the iPad Pro M4 13" 2TB Nano Texture for $1100 a few weeks ago. Was so stocked when I saw it advertised in store at Officeworks.
- 4

Can you share more details?
- 1

Were they demo models?
- 0

@I Smell Pennies: looks like it is no longer sold, and was just a clearance sale
https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/c/technology…
- 1

You bought 2 of them, and how were they that price when the same model in 1TB is on clearance for double the price?
- 0

It would have been nice if you could have shared that deal to help the oz bargain community!
- -5

Can't really share it when there's no stock everywhere else Australia wide. Mods would've just taken the post down as there's no stock.

Well done and congrats. I’m not sure why the negativity of somebody who got a super deal
- 4

Thank you, yeah it's why I don't post much now. Part of the reason is I'm super busy working (which is on me), but the other part is the negativity and support over the recent year or so. If I posted that particular deal, it would be taken down for insufficient quantity because I took the last of the stock available - would have benefited the community nothing. Some OzBargainers who I am close with have also stopped posting for the same reason, and now a lot of the insane deals are kept secret. I do want to allocate more time for OzBargain, but I'm struggling with work atm. I will start posting more soon.
- 10

Please keep posting deals.

@I Smell Pennies: Was it you that used to post amazon deals that were super cheap or free a few years ago? I remember getting things like a mop for either free or almost free….not the normal low quantity amazon warehouse but like coupon and coupon till free or almost.
- 0

@PVA: Yes, I remember the mop.
Although I can't take credit for everything, I did find a lot of the freebies on Amazon back then, when coupons and discounts were stackable, and posted them here. Some made it to OzBargain, some went OOS while I was typing the deal up, some were very limited so I couldn't post. I did try and post the most I could.
Eventually some fellow OzBargainers wanted to support and work with me and we ended up finding even more bargains.
Sadly it is the end of an era, as Amazon has more or less patched up the stacking of coupons and discounts, and thus no more freebies. I do know there are freebies or insane discounts that still do slip through once every few months, but none that I have gotten myself.

insane deals are kept secret.
nowadays insane deals rarely have stock
or the store just cancels all orders (except for the few that got lucky/early) after it get posted on ozbargain- 1

thats so cool, still available in OW?
- 0

wow, that's insane price, how did you find it?
- 0

Do these run Mac OS yet? Or are there plans soon? Even Android tabs can run Winlator and do almost everything a Windows PC can. An M3 on a large iPhone running iOS is criminal.
- -1

No way it will
- 1

Can you run apk or windows app on Mate Book Fold?
- 0

DUH! thats the point, nobody wants to run peasant wine windows apps,
android trolls- 1

Do these run Mac OS yet?
unlikely…
until the day Apple sees very low sales of iPads
then they will may merge iPad and Macbook into one deviceLately…they have been implementing MacOS like features into iPadOS (e.g windowing the apps etc) to show iPad OS features improvement etc.
but end of the day, iPadOS is still a very limited OS designed for tablet that does not have freedom to install your own unofficial apps that is not from Apple store.- 0

Clearance
Apple on clearance … how?
- 1

cos it is M3 when there is M4, M5
- 1

And the ram is 8 gigs. You get m4 and 12gb ram for a couple of hundred extra without deal, maybe less when m4 goes on deal. 4 gb of extra ram is a big deal in apple ecosystem.
- 2

yeap, ram is showing to be important for getting new the full SiriAI features instead of the lite version of Siri AI
iphone 17 getting the lite version of Siri AI, even though it is in the same gen of current release due to only have 8GB of ram
- 1

Gotta wonder where they keep finding these things.
- 0

OOS
- 2

Try checking stock here: https://officeworks.youinstock.com.au
If you can't find any nearby, Harvey Norman's $797 price is still pretty solid.
- 0

The $797 deal is unobtainable now, they have no stock left, so there's nothing for OW to pricematch.
- 1

If you're still looking you can get for $699 with code FY20OFF
- 2

Great find that's nearly worth a deal post on its own. They only have 3 left however so they wont be around for very long at $699.
- 0

Yoink, got the last one! Thanks

Officeworks don’t price match clearance lines!!
- 1

They do!
Their price beat page says: “Our Price Beat Guarantee (PBG) means that if you find a lower priced identical stocked item that's in stock with a competitor (even if it's on sale), we will not only match it, we'll beat it by 5%.”
https://www.officeworks.com.au/information/policies/price-be…- 1

On the same page under exclusions is: "Stock liquidations (i.e. competitor clearance products or goods sold by a business placed into receivership)"
Have I been misunderstanding this to mean everything marked "Clearance"?
- 0

To be honest, I didn't read that part of the exclusions. I've seen quite a few OzBargain posts where Officeworks has price beaten competitors' sale items, so I didn't think it would be an issue. In any case, Officeworks approved the price beat. If not, I would’ve just bought it from HN!
- 0

Yes you have been misunderstanding. "Clearance" is a very common term used for items that are on sale end of season runout etc
Liquidation is completely different. It means the company is insolvent and is being wound up by its creditors. As part of that process all the assets/stock of the failed company are sold off (liquidated) to raise money to pay off the failed company's debts.
- 0

They do, cause I just got it for 757
- 1

will there still be ipad mini sale rencently?
- 1

Mini rarely goes on sale. You can get a discount on apple edu store though
- 1

DigiDirect has it for $757 (but OW does not price beat DD)
- 0

I can only see $829 for the wifi only version with them, got a link to Wifi + Cellular M3 for $757 ?
edit/ i see youre talking about ipad mini not air
- 1

price matched it to jbhifi along with a case for $856
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/apple-ipad-air-11-inch-m3…
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/uag-metropolis-se-case-fo…Cart link :
https://direct.jbhifi.com.au/AU248-2BRANT- 2

I wheedled one out of JB for $808 today, not my finest hour but I'll take it. M4 version of this is $1,247 so that's 50% more for a marginal spec improvement. The M3 is good value at this level I reckon.
- 1

good price
officeworks pricematch would be good if there was any stock around
