  • Just received mine. I knew what the form factor was before buying. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone and all use cases. In most instances I can see it being large and/or cumbersome

    • Wouldn't the slimmer form be convenient for slipping into bags?

      • Just need to review your use case. If it suits you, great. It's quite large, it's certainly not thin, less brick shaped. Could be good or bad for you.

      • Yes this was handy, I returned mine after it started to bulge (unsure if impact damage or something else, wasn't going to risk it). I've got a square tower style one now and prefer it.

    • does it have UPS feature by any chance?

    • Why @justtoreply? is it huge?

    • Dimensions
      132mm (W) x 169mm (H) x 22mm (D)
      615 grams

    • Good if you need a drink coaster that charges

      • ooo extra feature

    • Got mine a few weeks ago, I find it's shape easier to slip into my backpack compared to my Anker 737. Form factor is more practical in that sense.

    • Its really good for me as I need to travel with my laptop often and it fits into my laptop bag just fine. Its honestly as perfect as something can get (for $49).

    • Its approx 17.5cm x 14 cm x 1.5cm for power bank
      19cm x 3.5cm x 3.5cm for the stand

Add about 3cm to the 17.5cm for the USB cables end sticking out when plugged in

Mine just sits on my desk and charges whatever i need to charge on it
1x USB-C is a Input which is a bit lame so you have 2 USB-A out and 1x USB-C Out if you're like me and just a run a cable from your powerstrip to its input

Been using it for 6 months now with no issues

  • i just checked, seems to still be decent stock for the bing lee power bank…maybe they found a few pallets recently?

    • Original Bing Lee detail said "More stock coming this week in both colours." in the description, could be as simple as that?

  • Thanks, got two speakers for $29.70. Hopefully they can stand being thrown about the room.
    By the kids, I mean.

  • speaker is OOS, seems there was only 21 in stock

    • Back in stock/available again.

  • Cheers on this! Looks like decent use anywhere speakers. Great gift idea too!

  • I've been 2 of the speakers for over a year now and I'm still really impressed by them. It's a lot of sound for $30, battery life is great and they take up very little space.

    • Agreed, they're not too heavy, battery life is wild and sound is pretty good. Bought another one to pair together. I take them when I travel.

  • I know it has additional ports, but isn't the price a little steep for 25k mah?

    • Wh is a more important metric in terms of battery capacity this is about 92Wh just under 100Wh for planes.

  • Does anyone know if the Cygnett VertPWR 100w Laptop Power Bank can be placed into check in luggage internationally to use overseas?

    • I don't think any power bank are allowed for check-in luggage. Only allowed for carry-on (and that's also dependent on Wh, airlines, location, etc).

      • Do you think they will let me bring with me via carry-on flying Qantas to Hong Kong?

        • The Cygnett VertPWR power bank is 92.5Wh which is below the 100Wh restriction for most airlines (ie. Qantas) for Carry-on.

But since you're travelling to Hong Kong, I'm not sure if they require the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) stamp or whatever the updated requirements are.

Is this power bank approved for air travel in carry-on luggage?
Yes, this 25,000mAh power bank is explicitly approved for carry-on luggage on planes, so you can bring it on your flights. Its compact dimensions and robust capacity make it ideal for powering devices during travel.

Tho i would check with the airline just to be safe.

    • it would, just not china

  • The speaker looks like cheap Anko ones…

    • That's because Nokia hasn't been a real brand in years. White label products just like kmart

  • FYI this speaker has "powerful 5W sound".

    • I’ve had this for over a year now and it’s actually good quality considering the price

      • I got two and they work great in stereo mode.

  • I just ordered via ebay of Cygnett Australia. I put offer and ask price match $49 with Binglee. Offer is accepted. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/146523893058. Thanks

    • Thank you for posting this. Just purchased.

    • No joy for me.

    • I did this earlier this morning too and offered $48 and it was accepted. This was the white version.

  • I bought the speaker in a previous deal. It's okay-ish for playing music, but not good if you want to use it for anything else like audible books or podcasts. It pauses briefly on every tiny silence and loses the next sound or two.

    • That doesn't happen at all for me.

  • The Nokia is cheaper now at $14.82 bc of the 22% off code that went live
