          you also need the galaxy wearable app. i have both installed and wont let me in. on a non galaxy phone too. i tried on an A something and its too old to let me download the wallet app

      Don't buy them just 'cause. That's just shopping addiction. If you're not genuinely expecting to use the money in the coming weeks, just keep stick the money in a high interest savings account and maintain cash flow for emergencies.

          Promo Credit yes (usually voids CB).

          Gift Card Balance = No (cashback is usually fine for GC payments).

          Nope, I've paid exclusively with Amazon Gift Cards for the last few years, no issues with cashback at SB ot TCB for that reason.

          I never said there's an account that pays 6% return. Even if I did, you would need to give a time period. Per annum is irrelevant if someone would otherwise use the cards next week. There's definitely no high interest savings account that pays 6% per week, tax free or not.

          The point of my comment was that you shouldn't lock up funds in giftcards if you have no specific expectation to use those giftcards, not that you can earn a better return elsewhere.

            Well this arrangement could do effectively exactly that.

            The quicker you use the credit the better but even if you take two years you are still doing OK.

            If you are short on ready cash then no.

      Cannot.
      Can only change credit cards but once an order is placed even if it's pending to ship, a new order needs to be placed in order to use gift cards.

      I have an order waiting to be shipped and I ordered quickly as the discount was limited time. I wanted to use discounted gift cards afterwards but it wouldn't let me.
      It's an Amazon AU thing, Amazon US isn't like that.

          In my case it was a specific card that kept failing. Try updating samsung wallet via the galaxy store if the app crashed.

      It looks like Kogan credit cards do not support Samsung Pay.

      Keep in mind that Samsung Pay is probably the least-supported out of the three major mobile wallets in Australia (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay). Other examples of card issuers not supporting Samsung Pay include ING, Macquarie Bank, Qantas Pay and Karta.

    As others have said they don't accept Amex. Worked first time with my Westpac MC.
    This "giftbig" web site looks dodgy as, but it's they're a legit Samsung subcontractor.

      Mine took about 5 minutes.

      It took much longer struggling to get Samsung Pay to work. If you can manage that, time to receive the card will not be the test of your patience.

        NAB actually blocked the card and flagged it as a suspicious transaction. I ended up just buying the camera with the kit lens from another retailer. Too much headache trying to get the giftcards
