I had one of these. It lasted about 20 uses before it started leaking internally somewhere. Might have just been unlucky, but I wouldn’t buy another one.

Nah, unfortunately I heroically thought I could fix it. Big mistake. The tension mechanism is like a roller door spring, so once opened there was no stuffing it all back in the casing properly.
Just give it back WITHOUT the stuffing. It's not like they're going to open it and check. 😂

Had one of these last for years attached to the outside of my old mans shed. When it finally ate shit I decided to replace it with another one and bought one for myself while I was at it. Both didn't last more than 20 reels in and out. Took them both back to aldi and got my money back. Pity as I'm sure the last one lasted nearly a decade. Will be spending 10 bucks more and grabbing one from trade tools next time

That one you linked is much better value per metre as it has a 15m hose.
Only problem with it is it doesn't come with fittings. Luckily I pinched the ones off the aldi reels before I returned them
