If you plan to pickup your order please ensure you select the "pickup in store" delivery option on the checkout page, as this not only eliminates the shipping fee for you, but also allocates your order to the click and collect system we have in place, so it means you'll receive different notification messaging to assist you towards a smooth pickup experience

  • $23.99 made my eyes light up as it’s the only one cheaper than my current Inglewood subscription and always looking to save, but unfortunately not recommended for a FW?

    • Which coffee from Inglewood do you reccomend for FW ?

    • I just get Sunset BLVD Blend which up to last week I was still getting at $32.90 delivered but just gone up to $36.40

      • What flavors do you like. Was going to try Sunset B, but doesn't match my flavor preference (mocha/ choc). Sold out of Downtown (wasn't a fan anyway). So curious what you like in Sunset B?

    • Morning @Captain Hindsight appreciate the double check and I'm very happy to know our EOFY Deal caught your eyes!

Our Vietnam is a fairly vibrant coffee, hence why we recommend it best enjoyed black, in this specific instance it's not to say it won't be enjoyable with milk just that the milk may overshadow the flavour a bit. Our Peru is delicious for both black and milk based coffees and via this deal 1kg is $28.19; additionally our India works really well with milk and via this deal 1kg is $25 so there's a few other options that may suit well e.g. Brazil 1kg $29.99 :)

    • I can confirm the Vietnam Sơn La is not very good in milk-based espresso coffees. I ran out of beans for the grinder and realised the only ones I had left were this blend so I gave it a try, but it just wasn't as balanced and robust enough to cut through the milk. It is, however, simply magnificent as a black coffee (or with a splash of milk, like Mrs C prefers) and it's the one I keep for just that purpose. In a short or long black espresso it has a pleasant sharp tang that hits your tongue up front and tapers off to a nice medium bitterness without a cloying aftertaste. In a stovetop it creates a velvety cuppa of fruity flavours with a really smooth bitterness - it's the kind of coffee I could drink all day long without feeling overwhelmed.

    • Hey @Towels no stress, if something in our deal catches your eye you can lock in today's pricing yet delay dispatch until the end of September!

p.s. if "will last me ages" takes you beyond end of September then I've got my fingers crossed a future opportunity will suit you well :)

    • Knock off Lavazza? Sounds delicious.

  • Looking to get some beans. I drink black either aeropress or hario switch. Which ones would you recommend? Thinking of getting the Ethiopia, Colombia and Vietnam beans.

    • Hey @cubey terrific to hear!

I think you've nailed the combo for filter with those 3, couldn't have said it better myself :)

  • Omg i bought a few days ago 🥲

    • Hey @xxJAGUARxx thank you so much again for your recent terrific order with us!

If something in this deal has caught your eye even more than what's in your existing order and your order hasn't been dispatched yet then you're welcome to self edit your order via the "view or edit your order" button in your confirmation email :)

  • Anyone experience off batches at all from these guys - I bought 4kg last time in 0.5kg bags, bagged em then froze (all the same way) - 2 of the thankyou blends were undrinkable, 1 was marginal, 1 was ok. The 4 bags of single variety were good however. Anyone have this issue?

    • Everyone has diff taste lol my fave so far is peru single origin but its one of the least sold whereas the brazil single origin was okay ish but best selling. Either way they are freaking freshly roasted aka no bitterness heaps of crema so compared to other beans (elsewhere and for $70 to $90 a kg) ive got that are old and bitter for the money and ability to dispatch a month of 2 in advance when there is a sale is amazing

    • On one of my first orders I got the Brazil single origin. Was really bad. No matter what couldn't get a crema and just tasted bad. I've had about 20kgs of moments to memories and all have been excellent.

If I can actually place an order I'll try the 2 on the big sale. M2M isn't on sale that I can see. The "cheapie" at similar prices to Aldi's quite good dark roast is recommended for black, and I drink about 90% of my coffee black. Hopefully they fix the website issue soon and the coffee is good.

    • I’ve bought a couple of mixed 3kg orders, including thank you blend, for freezing, and never had any quality issues. I freeze in quantities to last me a week per freezer bag.

      • Do you freeze the bag as is?

    • I did get a batch of Sao Paulo where the Crema was thinner than previous orders even though the roast date was only 3-4 days before.

    • Yep, same as some others I’ve been mostly drinking the Brazil Sao Paolo for a few years now and the last few batches have been sub-par with thin to no crema.

Honestly gaslit myself into thinking I needed to look at maintenance etc until I tried Atypical Candid off a recent deal ($40 delivered, so pretty similar price point) and immediately got drastically better results.

Long time fan and customer of Lime Blue and have recommended them to everyone in the past, but recent experience just hasn’t been there unfortunately.

      • Hey @SanguinarySeraph @42 and @tonydav appreciate the follow up feedback, last paragraph is for all of you :)

@tonydav I'm so wrapped to know how much you've ordered and loved our Moments to Memories Blend, thank you so much for your incredible support 20kgs+ is absolutely incredible!!! I wish you'd reached out when you had the Brazil experience as we hopefully could have figured out how to get you to thoroughly enjoy it, I believe this for two reasons, first, generally speaking if someone enjoys Moments they'll enjoy our Brazil, secondly, a decent portion of Moments contains our Brazil Single Origin. Not part of this deal, so it'll likely go off the site soonish, but if you just on today you'll be able to get a Buy One Get One Free deal on 500g of Moments which gets a 500g complimentary Brazil or Colombia Single Origin bag, :)

@SanguinarySeraph thank you so sincerely for your ongoing, long-time support of Lime Blue Coffee, I promise it's something we haven't taken for granted and as such not corners have been cut in recent times, please do send us an email as a reply email to your most recent Brazil tracking link email when you get a sec so we can help you unlock the delicious flavours you've previously enjoyed to much!

I can promise you nothing has changed recently with our Brazil, we've been same green coffee and same roast profile you previously enjoyed. As you've experienced our coffee is always sent out nice and fresh within 72 business hours of roasting, so good crema is a given due to the freshness. You may already be familiar with the term "channelling," but just in case. When coffee is ground too fine, dose too high or a combo of the two, pressure can build resulting in the water escaping via the path of least resistance and in turn you'll likely get sour, watery shot lacking crema. Terrific news is this is super easy to fix and just means you'll need to adjust the grind setting or lower the dose. Each coffee behaves a bit different in terms of the grind setting you need. Please always feel welcome to send a reply email to your tracking info email post dispatch if you have an extraction related question. Not sure how long ago you ordered, but if still have some coffee and it's still nice and fresh please do send that reply email query and I'll happily do my very best to help you unlock crema :)

      • I also found the same. I think it's just like grapes. Good seasons and bad seasons. Just not a lot of oil in the last season.
Waiting for good reviews before I jump back into the SO Brazilian beans (both Aldi and Lime Blue were thin). Aldi here still has shelves of Brazil from their April roast. So I'm guessing everyone else is finding the same. Again, no one's fault..Lime Blue roasts are done well. just mother nature variations in the "vintage".

    • Same for me. Decidedly average experience (bitter, no crema) and sub-par response (asked for machine details, because it couldn't possibly be the bean) when I provided my feedback.

  • Drinking the Brazil Sao Paulo Single Origin right now. It's great as a flat white. Another order incoming.

    • How wonderful to hear @rickb thank you so much for another terrific order and that fantastic feedback, it really does mean a lot!!!

    • That’s good to know, just ordered a kilo to try. Shame they don’t open during the weekends otherwise could do a pick up and visit DFO :)

      • Hey @Sungrower that's terrific to hear, thank you so much for the fantastic order, it's truly appreciated!!!

This complex is closed on the weekends, which means there's extra alarms from centre management, so although I work 7 days opening to the public on weekends is a tad tricky, but there is a plan in the background we're working on to enable weekend access or the next best thing…

        • Thank you mate. My order is coming tomorrow can’t wait XD

  • You've got under 26mins left if you wana grab the sensorylab coffee sale 😅

  • I've tried placing an order but the only dates available are up until the end of June. It says top of screen until 30 Sept but think something is going wrong back-end.

    • Hey @tonydav always better to ask than wonder!

All appears to be working as intended on my side, which coffee/s do you have in your cart?

      • 2 kgs Vietnam Sơn La Single Origin
2 kgs Peru Chanchamayo Grade 1 Organic Single Origin

Just tried again. Definitely nothing after 30 June.

        • Sure thing, sounds like a terrific order and thank you for the speedy, helpful info!

It's the Vietnam preventing dispatch beyond 30 June, as per "Dispatch can happen for you as near as tomorrow as far as the last Wednesday in September (30/09/2026), except our Vietnam Single Origin which you can delay dispatch for up until the end of June." Two solutions:

          1) Switch out the Vietnam for something else and dispatch will open until the end of September

          or

          2) Stick with the existing plan and 30 June dispatch date, then just freeze the coffee so it stays nice and fresh until you're ready to get stuck into the bags :)

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: It's all good. Have another 3 or 4 kgs coming in the next week from a deferred order. Liked the idea of getting 4kgs in mid Aug and also end Sep but I don't have room to store 8kgs extra coffee in the freezer RN. So will have to take a pass on this.

            • @tonydav: Sure thing, no stress, love the planning ahead skills!

Sorry we can't delay our Vietnam further for you, if we viably could we would. Extra thought as we're not sure whether the importer is going to get more of that Vietnam again is our Colombia Single Origin, based on your enjoyment of our Viet I think although a different flavour you'd love the vibrancy of our Colombia Single Origin :)

  • Ordered another 4kg, always awesome coffee. But please change your bags back to the old version! The tear strips seem more fragile on the new ones, and I can't fit my fat hand in the bag to use my scoop lol

    • Hey @Tombsc WOW what an amazing order, thank you so much for the outstanding order, it's truly appreciated!!!

The quality of the prior manufacturer was inconsistent over time, so the switch is an upgrade to better quality…please send me a reply email to your most recent order and I'll shoot over some hands tips so you'll hopefully soon find the current bags a breeze to use :)

  • Hey LimeBlue, any chance you are getting the Guatemalan beans back in over the next 12 months. I have been buying your beans for years and really enjoyed the Guatemalan beans.

    • Hey @as01 thank you so much for your recent order and that terrific complimentary feedback!

More than a 50% chance of getting is back, but not a guarantee, there's none currently available for us (I bought all the stock available), I'm working with the importer to try and get more, but if we can secure more it won't be in Australia until close to the end of the year…I've got my fingers crossed we can get it again as I agree that it was so uniquely delicious :)

      • Thanks mate! If it is available, I am happy to pay a more premium price for it given it is likely more expensive to source.

I like the idea of having cheaper beans to mix with milk (Brazil) and a more expensive bean to have as a black coffee (Ethiopean or Guatemalan)

  • Any signs of changing your bags to plastic free? While we all love to have microplastics in our drinks (I think they probably add to the taste of coffee also), there should be activity towards trying to wean off the plastics….

    • Coffee is one of those products where being plastic free comes with some major trade offs with storage, dealing with the degassing which pretty much means plastic valve not to mention being alot more expensive.

Shouldn't expect plastic free from any coffee roaster honestly

      • yeah it was a tricky question but something that most people would not ask. ;) Given that Limeblue are good at making long "statements" in their emails, I thought they might have a clever scheme….

  • Ethiopia S.O. not available past 31st August?

    • Morning @SirFrankGrimes appreciate the double check!

Hmm that's strange, I just checked my side and it's all good to reserve up until the end of September…sometimes tech does strange things, could you please refresh the page and see if that does the trick? If not, could you please send a screenshot of your cart page to tom@limebluecoffee.com :)

  • Which bean works best for cold brew?

    • Hey @pepidav always better to ask than wonder!

A number of great options come to mind as all our coffees work really well for cold brew from an extraction perspective. I personally enjoy more vibrant coffees for cold brew, so my go to is our Colombia or Vietnam Single Origins :)

  • You don't have chocolate covered coffee beans, right? Couldn't find any on your website. I don't drink coffee. Thanks.

    • Hey @firedragon never hurts to double check!

Spot on, we don't currently sell chocolate covered coffee beans, all the best with your search :)

  • Does anyone have any feedback on the if Indian robusta?

    • Same here, looking for a dark roast strong espresso bean (similar profile to Illy Intenso).

      • @LimeBlueCoffee, can you advise please

        • Hey @scarface always good to check first!

By "dark roast" are you looking for a lot of bitterness or just a chocolately that cuts through milk well?

  • Will say I've really liked the Columbian single origin I got in my last order, great espresso milk drinks

    • That's so terrific to hear @ATheoryofJustice thank you so much for that outstanding feedback and your order with us, both are truly appreciated!!!

  • Lime Blue, can you get some single origin new blends that are processed either Naturally or Anaerobic ?

These predominant washed beans are boring

    • Try different roasters brev.

  • What is the best amount of kilograms to order from your side with regards to shipping? I bulk buy and freeze. I assume there are certain weights that work better for you?

    • Hey @slashor how truly thoughtful of you to ask, thank you so much!!!

Hmm the answer does vary a bit depending on your postcode. Please go ahead and order whatever quantity works best for you, if you're happy I'll be happy. However, if you really do want a specific answer could you please send an email to tom@limebluecoffee.com to let me know what your address is so I can see what the shipping looks like for you :)

  • Looking at a bag of the peru single origin for $28, wondering how it goes with milk. Currently using somes old coles beans and can't wait to get rid of them

    • Hey @jk91 really appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

Our Peru Single Origin works a treat for milk based coffee as well as black coffees :)

  • No use of the phrase "flat chat". Are you unwell Tom?

    • haha just trying to keep you on your toes @wearytraveller I promise it'll be back again :)

  • Queued up 8kg of coffee orders, like both the Brazil and the Peru organic - freezes well too to maximise the free shipping (even tho $99 order value is a lot!)

Tom is there any chance you can look into offering some more transparency around the organic marketing of the Peru (and also the decaf) for customers? Perhaps having a copy of the organic certification in the product page or sharing info of the certifying body and certificate number?

    • Hey @dammit WOW that's so amazing, thank you immensely for those terrific orders, they're truly appreciated!!!

Nice freezer skills, it's like a magic box to keep coffee deliciously fresh :)

Appreciate the feedback, no problem being transparent, but I'm hesitant to put the Certifications on the product pages simply because I've actually been thinking about removing "Organic" from the titles as I think it makes it appear like there's a notable different between the certified coffees and our other coffees in terms of growing practices, when in reality the main think separating the two is the farmer paying for the certification. I fully appreciate in terms of other ag crops there can be huge discrepancies between Certified Organic and non certified, so I do know why people look for it, it's just that Specialty Grade Coffee operates a bit differently to other ag crops as flavour plays such a major role in terms of prices farmers can get and as coffee is a porous product, using harmful chemicals can negatively impact flavour and thus notably drive down prices. Please feel welcome to send a reply email to your order confirmation if you'd like Certification info and I'll happily send it to you.

  • No deal on Apple Crumble blend 😢

    • Hey @KiwiKen not featured in this deal, but still available, perhaps you could get a small bag to tie you over and then make the most of the next time it's featured in a deal by utilising our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system :)

  • Finished my Brazil Sao Paulo Single Origin, loving it - will need to reorder!

    • Hey @ringofan amazing, I'm so wrapped to know that you're "loving" our delicious Brazil Single Origin and that you're about to order more, thank you so so much :) :) :)

      • Which beans would you recommend if I don't want acidity at all. Your website says Brazil S.O is 9-10 milk chocolate

        • Hey @lemon as per my reply to your other comment I believe our Brazil Single Origin should be a real winner for you :)

  • Is it better to freeze in the bags they come in or repack in vac seal bags? I think they'd probably be OK in the original bags unopened but once you crack a bag decant the rest into smaller vac seals sized to last 3 or 4 days.

    • Hey @mauricem all good to store in the bag they come in. However, if you're happy to put the effort in to vac seal into smaller doses that'll be even better :)

  • Hi, will you get Guatemala El Durazno Anaerobic Single Estate back in stock? that one is my favourite.

    • Hey @plebio wonderful to know you've found your favourite!

Hopefully, we're working on it, but if we can get more it won't arrive until toward the end of the year, but good news is we're on the look out for similar types of coffees in the meantime :)

  • If I like more intense tasting coffee (dark roasts), which beans should I go with? Thanks!

    • Hey @Qmar always better to ask than wonder!

Are you looking for a coffee that's bitter or just chocolatey and cuts through milk well?

      • Thanks. Probably the latter but I like bitter too!

        • Very helpful thanks @Qmar :)

Although all good coffee has an element of bitterness, we aim to balance it with the other taste properties e.g. sweetness, sourness…so at present we don't have something notably bitter, however our Brazil Single Origin is terrifically chocolatey and cuts through milk really well!

  • I recently ordered the Peru and it was a decidedly average batch - bitter, no crema, despite trying a range of ratios. I had a similar experience with their Brazil beans last year. I've ordered good coffee from these guys in the past but for me at least the inconsistency isn't worth the gamble.

    • Hey @robotics thank you so much for your terrific order with us, it really does mean a lot!!!

I'm wrapped to know you've enjoyed some of our coffee and do appreciate you taking the time to reach out. We can't guarantee you'll enjoy the flavour of all our coffees as personal flavour enjoyment is subjective, however we do guarantee you'll always get our coffee nice and fresh. Freshness means with the right extraction you'll always get wonderful crema. As such, "no crema" point to the extraction needing a few small tweaks. If you're most recent batch is within a month of the roast date please simply send a reply email to your tracking info email with the above query and we'll just on quick sticks to assist in adjusting your setting and in no time you'll have luscious crema and delicious coffee in your cup :)

      • Thanks for the response, but it definitely wasn't the extraction, and it isn't appropriate to assume user error every time. It was the beans that were below par.

        • Sure thing. To clarify, I wasn't trying to put blame in any particular direction, I was simply trying to focus on assisting with troubleshooting this to a solution for you. If you're convinced and don't want to explore potential solutions that's perfectly fine, I can respect that, but if you change your mind and would like to explore this further, my offer to help stands, please send that reply email. Best case you get crema, worst case you can say "I told you so" :)

  • Willing to try your coffee as it's hard to obtain Ethiopian yirgs ATM.

After something like strawberry, red berry, boozy, whisky. What do you have?

    • Hey @Combo64 fantastic to know we've caught your attention and you're keen to give us a shot!

We had something recently I think you'd love but that sold out. If you're just after a fruity coffee then our Ethiopia will be your best bet, but if you're after a real boozy/winey vibe then you'll need to hold tight until we get a few new Single Origins in later this year :)

  • Drinking the Organic Single Origin at the moment.
    Nice drop.
If you ever get an organic blend in stock, I’d love to try it.

    • Morning @Signet that's such fantastic feedback to receive, thank you so much for your terrific vote of confidence and your order, both are sincerely appreciated!

Our half strength full flavour Peru is an organic blend we offer. I'm sure we'll create more unique blends in the future, but if they're organic certified it'll be a coincidence rather than an intention as we source based on flavour rather than certifications. As coffee is porous by focusing on flavour it means the farmers follow organic practices. Generally speaking unlike other ag crops there's not a huge financial incentive for farmers to pay to be Organic Certified, so a lot don't try to be, but instead put all their available extra funds into growing the tastiest coffee possible and using harmful chemicals would negatively impact flavour that resulting in lower prices for their coffee :)

  • Tom,
Damn prices fallen right after i'd ordered/received 2kgs ! Just my luck :( Oh well maybe better luck next time i suppose :)
    Cheers
    john

    • Hey @heretisj John thank you so much for your recent terrific order with us, it's truly appreciated!

No stress, if your order hasn't been dispatched yet then you're welcome to simply open your order confirmation email, click "view or edit your order" and then switch the products in line with what you'd prefer. If your order has already been dispatched then you secured the best available price at the time of dispatch :)

  • Recomendation on very low or no acidity beans? I'm thinking to get the Brazil San Paolo.

    • Hey @lemonsoju the perfect balance of question and answer all wrapped up in one nicely succinct comment… AKA think you've already found the best option for you via our Brazil Single Origin :)

  • Waited too long and missed the Vietnam beans

    • Hey @Pacify have a quick look again now, looks like a few customers have adjusted their orders via our post-purchase self editing tech AKA there's a small amount still available to secure :)
