  • And applies to items in the Umbrella Clearance Sale

Thanks OP. Avert your eyes kids, daddy's shopping.

  • Does this include box sets and Trilogies?

    • Yes, it should.

  • Jesus christ, i looked through that whole dog poop catalogue and theres a reason its clearance.

The best thing out of 289 titles was lake mungo and thats being generous… ooft.

    • I bet you're a secret Bambi: The Reckoning fan.

      I didn't downovote you BTW

    • Here's a few good ones:

There are also a few good Bruce Lee movies but DVD format only.

      • Lars is so good.

      • Ha, I bought Lars last month in the BOGOF sale and its ticket price was $35, now it's $20, so if you're annoyed you missed it then, it's almost the same price now after discount. Primer was $40 which makes it actually better now because you're not tied to another $40 item you may not want as much.

Looking for Alibrandi is still $43 starting though (!).

  • Excludes scream 7?

  • My god, how long are we going to see *28 Days Later** "coming soon" on 4k BR

    • I wouldn't be rushing out to get it, most of the movie was shot on HD digital cameras.

      • Yep, I am well-aware. I am keen to see what the result is, I'm intrigued.

      • Not even HD, DV

  • Do people really still use DVDs and Blurays?

    • If you buy a movie/show from Apple and they remove it because they no longer have the rights - and you didn't back it up to a hard drive/etc. then you lose that movie/show: it's really annoying and they don't refund you. They don't even warn you that you're about to lose it, either.

  • Meh 20% should be considered normal retail now they do it so often

  • When people could afford 4 bedroom mansions in the 1990's, early 2000's, have a dedicated theater rooms, yea ok, a wall dedicated to physical media was the norm. What about now, the next gen can only afford to buy a shoe box size property 1 hr away from the CBD in a jungle somewhere, no space to store physical media. Put it in the drywall cavity?

    • I know. Space is the issue. It's just me, my partner and our kitty in a 3 bedroom home, with one room entirely dedicated as a "media room" - floor to ceiling shelving going all the way around the room. Then there's my LEGO collection. I gotta stop buying more!

    • Stop eating all those avocados and pull yourself up by your bootstraps and so on and so forth.

      • True, been eating bread for breakfast lunch and dinner with butter only and now finally after 5 years of savings, I can put a deposit for a $1.7 million double storey house.

        • With butter?!?! Luxury!

When I bought my house 20 years ago we ate naught but mud and drank naught but puddle water and we were grateful to have it!

    • Also, if you're not fixated on keeping them in their cases, you can always buy a CD wallet for cheap from Temu or whatever and put the discs in there, then either ditch the cases or shove them in the back of a cupboard or under a bed or whatever.

  • This is how I find out 4k UHD Speed Racer exists! thank you!

    • There's a lot of 4K discs (and even blu-rays) that don't get released here. Check Amazon UK and DE (Germany) for your fave titles. You'll be surprised just how many TV shows and movies get released that we only get a fraction of (and often only on crappy DVD).

    • That’s what I picked up ☺️

  • As someone who has a good UHD blu ray setup, the current pricing trends are depressing.

    We're going through:

New and expensive->less new and reasonably priced->prices jacked way up [YOU ARE HERE]->everyone stops buying them and the format gets discontinued.

  • Picked up Dogma.

Also took delivery of my Pana UB820 today!
