  • Good value deal.

Note: Less than 3 years of security updates remaining

Specs for those who are interested:

    • MediaTek Dimensity 8350
    • 6.7" Super HD (1220p) p-OLED 120Hz screen
    • 50 MP main (OIS) + 10 MP telephoto (3x optical) + 50 MP ultrawide + 50 MP selfie
    • 6000mAh battery with 90W wired and 15W wireless charging
    • Dual SIM (nano + eSIM)
    • Case included
    • No SD slot?

    • What is the OS like? (for someone coming from a Pixel)

      • Haven't got this model yet. But my previous Motorolas felt like a very clean Android experience, and no weird UX bugs.

Also, Moto's choppy-choppy torch and twisty-twisty camera gestures make life much better.

        • What phone do you use now?

          • @joe888: Coming from a smashed Edge 30 Ultra, as well as an iPhone 16 for work. I prefer my Moto, honestly.

The Edge 30 Ultra was fantastic. I wouldn't be changing it the screen wasn't smashed - which is a particular risk for the curved screen phones.

        • Thanks, taught me something about my phone.

        • Thanks, good to know. I am scared when I switch from Pixel there will be some feature I miss, but I won't find out what that will be until I try lol

        • Second that. Use them all the time; super useful. One reason I moved from Moto G55 to Edge 60 and stayed.

  • Curved screen and vegan leather, bought 10.

    • Curved screen = do not buy tho

  • Curved screens give better impact resistance as the curve deflects impacts, I’m not a fan of them , I have one, and understand why some manufacturers pay the extra to add them, plastic back is the same, absorbs impacts, not a fan of vegan leather but it serves a purpose, some things on phones aren’t tor aesthetics, it’s for function and reduce warranty claims.

  • Was in the market to replace my Samsung S23 Ultra, which was giving me nightmares with connection drop-offs (4G / 5G). Done all the resets/firmwares/change providers, nothing worked.

  • Same price at JB.

    • Thanks, updated the deal accordingly :)

  • May finally upgrade my 2022 edge 30 Pro. Still fabulous. Just a warranty fix by Motorola last year due fingerprint sensor.

Battery still great, display still excellent, charging port still solid.

    Definitely prefer Motorola over Samsung's.

  • Bought mine from HN, upgrade from edge 30 ultra. The side looks bit pinky than I thought, and battery level shows 1% when I charging it. Otherwise it is an average phone I think

    • Do you mean the battery always show 1%? Does it show the actual battery?

      • I just mean when I start charging it, the battery level shows 1%, but then charge up to 100%. For previous phones I have, I think the inital battery level are around 50% at least when open the box

  • This or the edge 70 with buds? For a daily driver without needing anything high powered

    • The difference between 60 and 70 are pretty significant, you can ask Google AI to give a comparison list. I were got the free buds with edge 30 Ultra, but feels like the same as other $20 earphones, so not much a bonus in my opinion. I did have a look on 70 in HN today, it looks bit slim and may more stylish. I use mobile phone as GPS on boat, so brightness is 1st consideration when ride in bright with sunglass on.
