eufyCam S4 Solar Powered Triple-Lens Bullet-PTZ Security Camera $548 (Was $668) + Delivery ($0 C&C/In-Store) @ Harvey Norman

120

Been keeping my eye on this one for a while - Can be found cheaper with other retailers but shipping time is well over a month.

  1. Revolutionary Hybrid Design
Most outdoor security solutions force you to choose: a fixed‑lens wide‑angle camera or a motorised PTZ camera. The eufyCam S4 removes the trade‑off by marrying both technologies in a single unit. Its upper “bullet” camera delivers ultra‑sharp 4K resolution over a wide 130° (approx) field of view, keeping a key zone under constant watch.

    2
    Smart Tracking + Auto‑Framing
The secret is in the coordination: the bullet cam detects movement in its fixed zone, instantly notifying the PTZ cam to zero in and follow the subject — without leaving the fixed zone unattended. Meanwhile, the PTZ adapts its zoom intelligently: it zooms in for a single target to get license‑plate or face detail, and zooms out when multiple people appear so no one is lost.

    3
Night Vision, Visual & Audio Deterrence
Outdoor security means seeing in low light — and the eufyCam S4 delivers. Equipped with colour‑night vision (via dedicated LEDs) plus conventional infrared, it ensures visibility even when the sun goes down.

    4
    Flexible Power & Storage Options
Whether you choose battery‑solar setup or wired power, the S4 supports your preference. The solar panel is detachable, uses high‑efficiency ETFE film for durability, and can keep the camera operational with just one hour of direct sunlight a day.

  • Why is this in the "mobile phone" category?🤔

    • OP tagged 'S4' which is aliased to Samsung Galaxy S4.

      This has been fixed.

      • Apologies. Been a while since I've posted.

  • Genuine question. If you’re putting these outside your home, are you just attracting more attention? How do people balance preventative measures like this vs keeping their home ‘invisible’ as such?

    • Isn’t the whole point is to not be invisible, as they act as a deterrent?

There are people who don’t care and will just do whatever anyway with or without a camera.

      • My question comes from a thought that with the more visible security you have, the more someone may think you have to protect?

        • Cameras are also used to discourage vandalism, finding out where you misplaced something, and catching your neighbors doing stuff they shouldn't be doing.
Theft protection is not the only reason.

    • Criminals scoping places see any deterrent as an extra layer of difficulty to manage and potentially get caught. I remember watching a video of a security expert saying even just throwing one of those signs that says area is surveillanced or something like that without anything actually setup is a major deterrence.

  • It’s cheaper at Kogan for $439

    • As op has stated - other retailers have it cheaper but shipping 1-2 month wait

      • Glad you pointed that out, might have missed the:
Ships on or before 20th Aug

  • Should we wait as EOFY? Planning to upgrage to this model and the HUB as well as the old one wont be compatible to this new model.

    • These cameras are good if you have a really big area to monitor, with their multi-cameras, tracking and zoom capability. In general, the S3 Pro is better for normal sized front/back yards, being cheaper and much more discreet
