    I've had the Leap2 for 6 years and bloody love it. Worth checking it out even though it isn't mesh.

      Can you compare the aeron classic with it? I can sit in it for all day at work. I am torn between classic and remastered. Some things on the newer chair are weird, the posture fit has no effect at all. The two adjustments knobs hit my legs when I swivel if my feet are on the base lol

      I feel like classic used, is not a good deal for me. People are asking $900+ for a 10 year old chair.

      I really wish to sit in steel case to try. But a 5 minutes test could also be insufficient. Thanks though

  Steelcase no longer has a physical presence in Sydney(Australia?) as they closed down their showroom.

  Is there anywhere else you can physically try your chairs before dropping 1500 bucks?

      I got a second hand Leap V2 off marketplace for $70 and have no regrets. That being said, I haven't tried any Aerons for long term to compare

        I have been checking Facebook market place and most of the prices are close to buying a brand new one. How is the cushion on yours? I have an Ikea chair that has gone flat and is painful to sit on.

          @itsmoe: The cushion has worn down quite a bit esp under the knees but it is still comfortable enough. I sit on it for 10h+ daily with no issues

  I tried the Leap in their Southbank showroom last year and it was the only chair where I felt completely comfortable and it needed no adjustments.

  Wanted to try this year before buying but they shutdown.

  Purchased the black color last month, delivered fully assembled. 10/10 purchase. I can tell it is even fixing my posture.

  I've owned the Leap v2 since mid-2024. I paid $1,259.25 after 25% off.

  As an over-6 feet athletic build male, I'm very happy with it. It fixed my back problems after trying several others – including Aeron, BlitzWolf BW-HOC5, Northday ErgoTune Supreme, and a bunch in Officeworks. The closest one I quite liked was Pago Yucan, but its headrest was too low. Ironically, I went with a Leap v2 without a headrest (haven't found I needed it so far).

  The only thing I dislike is the build quality of the backrest hinges. I had to replace the chair twice - first it was the backrest lever slipping, and second time it was squeaking and getting stuck. With the third chair now, it's fine. At least their customer service is proven.

  I have a 2016 Leap I picked up used for $450. It seems functionally fine but the seat pad is wearing.

  Tossing up whether to get a whole new one or order new pads from the US - $435 for both or $283 for just the seat seems steep. But $1,259.25 is steeper…
  Wish there was an Aussie supplier.
