    @BLUETTI AU - If you're the store rep, then give us a proper bargain. We've mentioned this in other deals you've posted. The pricing needs to be closer to $0.50/wh for people to be interested. Even Amazon is selling this model for $900, so your RRP is way off.

      Agree. Bluetti keep using OzBargain as their marketing playground. Hopefully not much people bite into this deal.
      Anker has come to their senses and offering good prices in line with their US pricing for us OzBargainers (although only for select product, but it is a good start).
      Bluetti has good product, but the price is way too high outside US. Please stop the practice of using rest of the world to subsidize and maintain low US pricing.

    $899 would be a normal full price to pay for this. $799 would be normal sale price. $700-730 good price. Under $700 bargain.

      No, the previous model, AC180 would have been about $1800 at retail price and $1200 during discount. So $836 is not bad. The issue is you have other random companies who rebrand Banggood/Alibaba specials to a local brand to give credibility. At least Bluetti has their own factories who manufacture their own powerstations inhouse.

      Then again, you are OzB and rather throw $700 to a failing product without aftermarket support, instead of $836 for a current model product with support and a 5 year warranty.

        True $836 isn't bad but it's not good either. This has been $899 since June 1st on amazon. So that's why I considered it the normal full price you would pay. They are offering 7% off. Battery prices have dropped a lot (just look at home battery prices) so we are still paying premium prices for portable units. I have one of these from black friday and now I wouldn't pay more than $800 for it again. Just my opinion. People may be buying at $836 but if they want to move units on ozb then they should be aiming at $800.

    The bigger problem here is that the sale price in the US is regularly around $399 USD for this (sometimes less). That's $580 aud. Add on some gst, and we're still getting a pretty cr*p deal.
    Not like it's made in the US either, and these days the Australia tax isn't usually that much.

      Exactly. Knowing how much tariff US slapped into most thing comes from China nowadays, how can they still offer those kind of price to US consumer? The answer is they are using rest of the world as their cash cow to subsidized and maintained low US prices.
      This is common practices used by even high end product brand. This practice has to stop, and we consumer can vote with our wallet.
      At the very least, they should make it the same across the world.

      Thanks for replying but that does not explain nearly double US discounted prices.
      Bluettii are manufactured in China and base unit is the same for all areas and simply using 230v 50Hz inverter instead of 110v 60hz (same as much of Europe)
      Everything is modular and it makes little cost difference which sockets or inverter type are used on the production line.
      Yes, warehousing and transport costs are higher but unlikely to be much more than Europe.
      Prices are simply too high. We look at $ per wh.
