  • Can't figure out the difference other than shape with this one: https://www.shavershop.com.au/philips/series-1000-wet--and-d…

  • If you've got fairly soft skin I've found these tri heads don't really work well. You really have to stretch your skin and punch it into your face to do anything. Better off with a one blade style trimmer imo

    • I find the foil ones to be better.

  • Too cheap to be good

      • Your wife needs to underStand how things work.

  • I’m not convinced about the 3.5 million cut claim. There are 3 heads with 27 blades on each. The head must spin at 43,000+ RPM to achieve that figure.

    • You forgot to include hair follicles in your equation. That’s probably where they get “cutting actions”.

    • Each blade doesn't do 1 cut per rotation, it does as many radial gaps there in each head.

  • Nice find Op, here's the link to all the shavers on sale.
There's a Panasonic foil shaver with USB-C charging for $67.

    Edit - It's cheaper @HN with code EXTRA15 - $56.95 click & collect.
    Bing Lee $56.

    • Same price on Amazon for Panasonic

  • better buy multiples as the replacement heads look to be around $50

    • But it says they're self sharpening LOL!!!

  • Isn't the 1000 the worst in the series? It goes from 1000, 3000, 5000, 7000, 9000

    • So are you saying if I spend more I will get something better?

  • I find Shavers are one of those things where you actually get what you pay for. Better to buy a decent one first up, it’ll perform better and last you years.

    • i have a $10 usbc rechargable cheapy that works pretty good

  • If you really want more information https://shavercheck.com/philips-shavers-guide/
