  • Bought last time - nice little set

  • No idea what car or bike, the boat or the camper this will live in but figure that out later.

    Thanks lol

  • Yeah. I have three sets - one in the bike's top-box, one in the car, and one in the shed. Damn little things are soooo helpful!

  • Bought this two times before, havent used it yet

  • Thanks OP, bought one that can live permanently somewhere on the m/bike. (0.2kg!, an exellent price and Bahco quality)

  • While this kit does the job it's certainly not the quality of bahco of old. The ratchet is coarse and the bits are average.

Still a bargain for $20, not so much for the $60 I paid for it.

    • Any suggestions for a reasonably priced decent quality set? I’m sick of cheap tools striping nuts and screws etc (sick of cheap Bunnings screws as well)

    • Mm.. saw this just by zooming in.. looks like crescent set from bunnos

  • I bought 2 of these kits last time. Very poor quality, the philips driver bent and deformed, the ratchet is not great. Spend a little more and find a wera toolcheck or similar. Full disclosure - I did use it in an impact driver, so dont do that… dont assume its quality just because of the name. Suitable for light duty only

    • You can't complain about the quality when you used the tool for something it's not intended for, these aren't impact rated.

      • Not a complaint really, but a description of what quality tool this is. Trying to provide others with information.. while you're not wrong, bahco is a quality brand, and having used their tools before I was surprised it damaged so easily.

  • Happy with this kit for $20!

Although I feel their $70 price tag is a bit misleading.

I now own both the standard (SL25) set and this set (SL25BL).
Side by side the difference in refinement is noticeable.

The original set has premium finishes when compared to this set.
On this set, the plastic and rubber feels cheaper,
The edges are slightly burred when compared to standard set,
The ratcheting mechanism isn’t as nice,
And the matte chrome on the sockets isn’t as nice either.

But at $20 I still think it’s the best set for the price, especially considering the standard set is 3.5x the price.

    Thanks OP!
