I’m Pat, an Aussie tech YouTuber behind TechManPat, and I’ve built an app called Vault.
The simple idea is this:
Most of us buy tech, appliances, gadgets, tools, TVs, laptops, batteries and random gear, and we swear we’ll keep the receipt.
Then something breaks months later and we’re digging through Gmail, PDFs, drawers, screenshots, photo rolls and hoping the receipt still exists.
So here is Vault.
Vault is a receipt, warranty and product tracker. You can upload a receipt, take a photo, upload a file, or simply forward an invoice or receipt by email. Vault then helps extract the product details, purchase date, store, receipt file and warranty information into a saved item.

Why people should care
Vault is not "just" a receipt folder. A receipt sitting in Gmail or a drawer is only useful if you can actually find it when you need it. Vault is built to turn your purchase history into something useful.
The most useful bit, in my opinion, is email forwarding.
You do not have to manually upload everything. If you buy something online, you can forward the receipt or invoice to Vault and it will try to read it and create the product record for you.

The bigger picture is that Vault should help you know what you own, what it cost, where the proof of purchase is, when the warranty expires, whether it has been recalled, and what information you need if you ever have to claim warranty or insurance.
Web, iOS and Android
Vault works across web and iOS, with Android coming soon.
The offer code is redeemed through iOS, but the subscription is linked to your Vault account. Once redeemed, Pro access carries across your Vault account on web and iOS, and will also carry across to Android when the Android app launches in the next few weeks.
What Vault is not
Vault is not accounting software.
It is not trying to replace Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or a full asset management system.
It is not built for:

- Inventory management
- Procurement approvals
- Corporate admin
- People who love spreadsheets with 47 columns
