The Washington Post Core Subscription (Unlimited Web & App Access) A$20 for First Year @ The Washington Post

83

The A$20 deal tends to have occurred annually over the last few years. (other option is $0.50/week)

If you’re not a current subscriber - click the ‘save and subscribe’ and button of the top right of the homepage or wait a few seconds for a deal to pop-up.1

I suggest taking the annual deal (rather than $A0.50/week) and then cancel it so as not to get accidentally charged $140 in a year’s time.

Cancelling does not instantly end the subscription; it’ll end when it was due to / paid up to.

If you’re a current subscriber or already have selected a renewal plan, cancel your subscription and then sign-out.

Subscribe using your current email address and re-input your cr/dr card payment info.

A screen will pop-up to say you’re already subscribed and your card hasn’t been charged. Sign-in using the button on that pop-up. Another pop-up will appear with the offer.

Your new subscription will start (and be charged) when your current subscription finishes. The process will clearly note those dates.

  1. Re- pop-up deals
*The ‘Say hello to savings’ deal and the ‘America 250’ deal seem to be running concurrently at the moment with the latter just starting in the last 24 hours.
*Clicking on an article to seems to bring up the former deal - but sometimes without an annual option.
*Using private browsing / incognito will help the pop-ups occur.
