      Was curious how they compared but makes sense, I went from gaming headsets to HD6XX (with stand-alone microphone) but they are getting old now.

          No old isn't a problem meant more like worn out from a lot of use but prefer the sound quality.

    Easily the best headset I owned when I went down the rabbit hole of gaming headsets. It’s great to see they’re finally multiplatform now. They’re still the best rated gaming headset according to RTINGS, alongside the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro.

      Same, went through a few, and overall liked these the best. Very comfortable, good sound for a gaming headset, mic quality is top notch, program makes them easy to tailor, battery is good and the dock is handy to keep them charged, also the best wireless connection of the headsets I tried. They're semi open which I much prefer, feels and sounds much more natural

      Sure they don't sound even close to as good as my Hifiman or Sennheiser with amp, but I'll reach for these every time when I'm gaming or on a call

        I went through a heap of different headsets, ended up back on wired with some Senny/Drop PC38x with a Fosi K7 amp/dac, and its lightyears ahead of any gaming headset I have used.
        But I also don't think they will be available for much longer with Drop being sold to Corsair :(

        And as a bonus, they sound almost as good as my HD600s!

    i've got these and happy with them only gripe is charging stand is so fiddly and doesn't charge half the time and is flat when you pick it up

    Because of the HDMI passthrough, you have to set the audio on your PS5 to tv out and reports are that this mucks around with the PS5 Tempest 3D audio.

    From what I've read on reddit, most people seem to enjoy the audio off the Gen 5 more.
