3410

Deal for this has come and gone a few times, at both JB & Good Guys. Been monitoring (heh) for a last minute purchase before EOFY and was able to snap this up.
$15 discount applied automatically at checkout when cart value is >$150 and click & collect selected.

Bought two myself so came down to $141.50 each.

And yes the product page description has errors, it was same on JB website but was confirmed by several other buyers to indeed be the 144hz IPS 1440p model (as visible on Dell Singapore website: https://www.dell.com/en-sg/shop/dell-27-qhd-monitor-se2726d/…)

  • where did you get $15 off? I tried click and collect price still the same $149

    • Its on their homepage, automatically applied to cart when click and collect selected and cart value is > $150.

      • I added an calculator, total $153, still don't see the $15 off. How to get it?

        • 1) Add items to cart to exceed $150.
          2) Go back in time.

    • Cart of $150

  • :)

  • good price

    • Full HD VS QHD

    • That one is 1080p FHD (model SE2726H)

You want model SE2726D which is 1440p QHD.

  • For those looking to bump the price over $150, look at the banner up top and find clearance deals under the deals tab. Sort by price lowest to highest and select the calculator or cable manager for $4.

  • Thanks, after all voucher/gift cards, bought 2 for $251.17

  • Where are people getting vouchers/gift cards from?

    • There’s been some “online wallet” deals where you get store credit for certain purchases with the Good Guys, I believe that’s the most common one.

    • Macquarie bank has variable load GC with 4% discount

  • Beware that this is a non-height adjust stand :(( BUT there's VESA holes for all your mounting needs

    • Good to have holes.

  • Outstanding…. A(nother) monitor and pink phone grip for $135 minus cashback.

Well worth the wait for a capital first post, OP. Thanks!

  • Wow there's no stock in Perth seems like, have to drive 150km to get a C&C.

    • Lucky you.

      For me, in Sydney:

No stores can be found within 500km of the delivery location. Please try a different postcode/suburb.

      • Penrith, Marsden Park, Tuggerah and Castle Hill all showing as in stock in Sydney for C&C as of 10.30pm…

        • THANK YOU!!!!!

I had my postcode saved but not a store and just assumed I could only get delivery from whoop whoop.

          Cheers.

          • @Golazo: Nice work. May your pixels all be bright…

  • Can the two monitors be written off straight away?

    • I suppose they could be if you drop them on your way out the door…

      • Buy now, think later. Turns out I had like $35 sitting in PayPal for no reason lol
I'll figure it out, no thanks

        • Don’t mention it. To the swift go the spoils…

  • Great find, got 2 for the home orifice before tax time.

    • is that the one at the back?

  • Thanks OP got 2

  • No C&C available in metro Melbourne, so can't access the $15 off :(

  • No C&C in Sydney

  • nearest place for me in qld 40 minute drive, ig ill wait for it to come again

    • 57 mins/73KM here lol
I picked a store down the coast as gotta go down to pickup some building supplies anyway. Oxley had display stock

  • Is this wide gamut?

    • Specs only list sRGB at 99 percent. But I am concerned this might not even be a native 8 bit panel (6bit+FRC instead)

  • What kind of dock are people using for this? To run 2 x 144 hz QHD you need some decent bandwidth, around 20 Gbps

Or are people using these primarily for PC setups with HDMI/DP direct?

    • finally replacing my 2nd screen after 15+ years. rest easy mr benq <3

      • what model benq and size?

        does it still work?

        • Works - unsure of the model

          • @yellah: it should be printed on the back..

            what features does it have?
            and what is the size?

Amazing that the monitor lasted for 15+ years..
most daily used LCD usually end getting some sort of problem after 6+ years

  • We need a deal on U2725QE!

  • My Kogan monitor is fine but this is tempting, with this I can see ozbargain deals better in a higher refresh rate and sharper to avoid wrong price.

    • get some glasses

  • Anyone have a good monitor arm recommendation that would suit this?

    • This doesn't exactly answer your question, but if you often change from siting/standing or just adjust your monitor a lot I would not cheap out on the arm. Getting one that has built-in springs(?) to make it easily maneuverable is SO much better than constantly loosening/tightening the different sections. Without the balancing, it's very awkward adjusting the arms over a desk.

I managed to get an "NB North Bayou" model for cheap on marketplace, and I'm so glad I did. Hope this helps!

    • I'm using a gas monitor arm - not this exact model, but this company:
      https://www.amazon.com.au/NB-North-Bayou-Computer-20LB-F80/d…

They are on ozbargain frequently. Gas is silent and smooth.

      (i got this one: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07496HG96?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_f…)

F80 for sub $35 would easily hold a 27" monitor.

      • what do you recommend for 3 monitors setup?

  • Looking at this deal on my over priced Dell 2721DGF.

    T-T

    • is this model better and what is good about your own one?

      how much you paid?]

  • I got a MG279Q (retail $1000, got it as ex-display for $400~) in 2020. This beats it handily for only $150. Amazing.

    • I also got the MG279Q many years ago, I think it had a better panel than this one, though (I did extensive research).

  • Philips 27M2N2500NF is a better option.

  • Bought 2.
    Thanks, Op

  • Bought 1 and just realised it doesn’t have audio output 😌 anyone has suggestions how to trick this situation ? i will be using this monitor for multiple devices so output plug is very handy but obviously now I dont have one with dell

    • You'll probaby need something like hdmi switch that also has an audio extractor function that also operates 4k @ 120hz

      https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008617655185.html

      • Yes I did look into this exact device you are showing but after carefull consideration and analytical discussion with chatgpt ended up using hdmi switch just to accomodate the display output from 3 different devices and adding up a 3.5mm switch between 2 devices (pc and mac) and rely on my bluetooth for ps5. Well to be fair, I could have just switch between devices with bluetooth but idk, just wanna utilise the full capability of my speakers and pretend im an audiophile hence me buying all these fancy stuff hahaha.

        Edit:
The only thing that stopped me from buying that was the item picture and the descriptions are not matching, picture noted its 4k 60hz and the description said 4k 120hz, Im aware of the possibility of it being able to support 2k 144hz but dont think i'd take the risk.

        • That setup sounds a little clunky but curious what 3.5mm switch you got with these?

  • Bought two. Cheers!

  • Tried to edit my earlier comment but I cant, for last minute buyers (deal is coming off in 2 days). The product is great when you sit in front of it with good eye level to screen, sharp, good color (im not a color expert, just comparing to my previous monitor), this monitor seem to not have a great viewing point from other angle except when you sit in front of it, im not sure whether its the screen material or anything but perhaps people can use it as a consideration.

The fact that it doesnt have an audio output port, im giving it an overall 7/10, having an audio output jack would add to 8/10, an extra ports would be nice (it has hdmi and dp but doesnt feel enough if you have like 3 different devices like me), and yeah the viewing angle in my case would make it 10/10.

Very very good price compared to other products in the market (MSI 27" UHD 60hz costs $237 on Kogan hence no brainer).

    • damn I was going to get a a few of these for rears in my surround vision setup

      • I guess you can go to the shop and see, personally its not as good as I expected from the side. Speaking of surround vision, you’ll be putting the screens at an angle so it shouldn’t be an issue right ?

  • Bought one, pretty cool monitor. Thanks OP!
