6 Months of BINGE Basic (New Customers) for 10,000 Rewards Points @ McDonald's via MyMacca's App

450

Get it while you can, especially if you have the points because now that McDonald's have increased the points required for their food/beverage rewards, it's not really worth saving these points for more junk food!

YMMV but this was available in the Partner Rewards section of my MyMacca's app in multiple accounts.

  • Binge basic was 2 dollars a month right ?

    • Yes, but that has ended as far as I am aware.

      • Its still on but the $2 version is the tier with ads

        • Then I stand corrected. Still, I wouldn't want to give any streaming company actual $$$ from my bank account. Hence my personal preference to use these points instead.

          • @new2onlineshopping:

I wouldn't want to give any streaming company actual $$$ from my bank account.

            Why?

    • Still available for $2 a month if you're on Commbank Yello. So worth $12 if you can tolerate ads.

Still some people would prefer to just sail the high seas, after all the Big Mac only requires an $5 extra spend, from 8000pts to 8500pts.

  • Just realised they're also selling FIFA stickers but it says they are digital…I'm so confused lol wth are digital stickers?

  • Darn i got nowhere close to those points

  • Basically requires a $100 spend. Obviously not worthwhile if you go to Macca’s exclusively for this deal, but if you’re a fat carnt like me you’ve already got those points available.

Or you’ve used them on food, you fat carnt.

    • I've had plenty of deals where it is spend $x for y bonus points.

    • Obviously not worthwhile if you go to Macca’s exclusively for this deal

most of mine are from bonus points…

      • That’s what they all say

        • I currently have a 1500 bonus point offer for spending $15 or more…

          ie… double points.

          • @jv: that is a targeted offer.

            • @dongltron: I don't see any targets in my app.

              • @jv: keep looking.

                • @dongltron: I used vibe coding to build an app that looks for me…

  • Why would anyone go to McDonald's now that the McSmart meal is over?

    • 50c ice cream

    • 50c cone for the kid as a reward for something or other.

Don't even want to think what the little cookie box costs these days.

Edit: Damn, should have refreshed the page, was beaten to it.

    • It isn’t over.

    • To get the Beckham cup? Lol :D

    • They just readded the McSmart meal but now there is 3 different options.

      • $10 and requires the app is not the same thing

    • What?? That is the only thing I get from Maccas! When did they stop the McSmart Meal?

    • Bought one 2 days ago? Didn't use app…

    • kids

  • Not a chance I am not paying for something that forces me to also watch ADs. ❌

  • 1 month kayo for 12000pts too. That's what I'll be spending my points on

  • If you like matcha, that's the drink worthy at recent.

  • I can't seem to find these in my app?

    • It's in a section called 'Partner Rewards'

  • This can't be used for existing customers…

You'll need to cancel first and rejoin after the subscription lapses.

  • My time is too valuable to be watching ads to save a few dollars.

    • Ozbargain is basically an advertising site

  • I know I saw this type of comment on previous McD deals before but.

who manages to go to McD this much. it's not even for broke people anymore prices and sizes are ridiculous.

find your best local burger place and pay them less for a bigger burger and probably healthier without all the preservative. last time I went McD burger by itself was $13 or more and smaller. don't know why people still love McDies.

    • Maybe because your local, if its not a franchise, is most likely priced even higher. Kind of like why Amazon shopping tend to save you money

      • I mentioned I pay less for bigger burger at local. just takes a bit extra effort to find the best in your area.

doesn't matter if it's franchise or not McD charges too much for how global they are. also anything except the angus beef patty tastes like carboard rot but it's all masked with the cheese and sauce. try a normal burger pattie without the sauce you will understand.

sauces are getting really strong on the angus beef patty burgers too I don't think they would taste much better without the sauce.
last time I went post covid after a long break from having it I couldn't believe how horrible it tasted. tried the nuggets too they changed those and they tasted awful (more plant based?).

my main point is how much do you go there and spend to save up 10,000 points. must be a lot if like flybuys.

        • thought I should confirm.

I'm comparing burger to burger. last time I checked meal prices were pretty much the same, except at local you get more weight in burger and chips and less drink. pretty sure cheapest meal is small chips but still more weight and filling than McD chips, and the drink is a can (small meal).

but I only ever get a burger anyway, I'm not a fan of chips and coke prob not great for you anyway.

  • Just trying to activate this deal. Got a code from maccas but when I try to enter it in binge it's telling me that my code must be alphanumeric only.
