530

NOW ON BACK ORDER… Well folks - looks like all stock allocated for this deal has sold in around 2 hours - we have more stock arriving late next week which will dispatch the week beginning Monday 12th of July, if you are OK with this please order - if you cannot wait a week or so, please do not order.

RESTOCKED

Hi Ozbargainers,

A few of you have reached out asking for another Minoxidil 5% deal, sadly due to a significant price rise one of our top sellers that brand is currently off the Ozbargain menu, but we have just received a couple of cartons of Restor 5% (Spray application Minoxidil) which was accompanied by some bonus items, so I have netted off the value of the bonus stock and am able to offer a 4 (four) month supply tonight for $39.99 delivered. I have enough stock for around 50x orders tonight, if orders exceed this number the item can go into back order and will ship when the new stock arrives.

Given our good friends at Australia Post have just cranked up their postage costs again, I think this is a ripper deal for this product delivered (hint: probably wont be repeated again at this price point).

Item: 4x Month supply RESTOR Minoxidil 5%
Price: $39.99
Code: Not Required
Delivery: FREE

  • Hi Jason,

I bought your minoxidil solution last time and it's working great for me so far. Noticed that it is classified as flammable liquid though, hence wont be able to bring it overseas. Is this also the same for this spray model (classified as flammable liquid 3)?

    • Could you please share what you mean by "working great"? Have you actually seen noticeable results? If so, how long did it take, and how many months have you been using it?

Also, how do you use the treatment? I've never used it before. I just bought ketoconazole (Nizoral) for hair growth.

      • How does ketoconazole help for hair growth? I am curious to know. Thanks

        • I read online, it reduces the inflammation and blocking dht

          • @Zeee: Ok thanks.

          • @Zeee: I'm bald - will it work?

            • @iDroid: Honestly I just started 2 weeks ago. It wont work if you are bald.

          • @Zeee: This is true (leave it in hair for 5 mins while in shower). Just bear in mind Nizoral itself isn’t enough of a DHT blocker to make a large difference, you’ll need a systematic solution such as Fin or Dut to make a noticeable reduction in hair loss (and hair regrowth for that matter).

          • @Zeee: You really shouldn't be using that without consulting a doctor. It can dry out your scalp causing rebound excess oil production or hair damage (could exacerbate hair loss)

The current best treatments in order of least side effects risk profile are:
            Caffeine shampoo (Natural)
            Rosemary oil (Natural)
            Topical Minoxidil (OTC)
            Oral Minoxidil (prescrip)
            Finasteride (prescrip)
            Dutasteride (prescrip)

Noting that caffeine is debatable data wise but rosemary oil is clinically relevant but still worse than minox.

Microneedling and reducing weight can also help by stimulating new cell growth and lowering inflammation.

Noting this should be obvious but don't use AI for your health and instead talk to a GP lmao. Fwiw, I'm on Finasteride 0.5 daily + minox oral 5mg daily have no sides and my hairs thicker than ever tho everyone's different so YMMV.

Edit: also it takes at least 6 months to a year to see results from any of these cus that's how long hair takes to grow (just look up the scalp hair cycle)
Rosemary Minox, caffeine all increase blood flow to region.
Fina / Duta both reduce DHT. DHT increases beard growth and reduces scalp hair. It's also important if you want your balls to work and don't want testicular cancer.

            • @TPGservice: It's the most recommended shampoo for a reason, but you shouldn't use it everyday.

            • @TPGservice: Can we add the prescription dutasteride gel capsules content to this, to make a dutasteride Minoxidil topical combination?

    • I had no problems taking this to Europe in checked baggage.

      • just pour into another bottle and label it herbal flu medication to be taken orally

      • As long you don't transfer the contents to another bottle or container you should have no problem. Eg finasteride tablets should clearly say finasteride. And you have email records or photocopies of the prescription.

    • lol taken plenty of sprays like this and not once has it been an issue

  • Thanks OP

  • Thanks Jason!

  • Does this stuff makes you lose your existing hair before regrowing? Or does it just supplement exiting hair growth?

  • Add rosemary oil In the bottle and mix, to boost the hair growth!

  • I used this stuff for about a month. Sadly I had one of the side affects which made my balls hurt for weeks while using it. I'd rather go bald.

    • Which head did you use it on?

      • d**khead, obviously.

  • This has worked extremely well for me paired with Finasteride.

    • From where did get fenasteride?

      • Ask your GP for an off label prescription for hair loss

        • How much do you pay for off label?

        • That’s not off label - Finesteride is approved for hair loss use

    • Your hair was thinning and you used this and it stopped thinning?

      • Yes, it stopped losing hair and helped regrow hair. You need to get a prescription for Finasteride.

        • Hormone levels need a good doctor to follow you on that route.

    • Finasteride cause ED? Low libido?

      • I had a bit of issue on 1mg/day but I've been okay on 0.5mg/day

        • So it does have side effect

          • @Zeee: Yes it can for some people, some reports of some being irreversible

      • Not for most

    • Is that oral or topical?

  • Just shave it broz

  • Is this for men or women? or it doesn't matter?

    • Just Men and "Woman". Not for Women

      • Why is woman in quotes? All women bald.

        • OP's title should be men and women plural.. haha

    • Both
      Doesn’t matter.
Women also bald and I know women that use this, I’m literally buying more from this deal for one of them.
      Cheers OP

    • Just for men

      • Only joking.

  • Be careful if you have a cat.. Minoxidil is highly toxic to them

  • Just realised how fortunate I am to still have a full head of hair at 45.

    • You can use this as a prevention measure as well, once you start noticing thinning or fall out alot… I would go on it straight away.

      • Don’t start mate, once you start you cannot stop or you will lose everything. Delay it as much as possible if at all you must.

        • You don't "lose everything", you just lose what you gained from Minoxidil (plus any general loss over the timeframe that you would've had anyway)

  • Is this a lifetime subscription to hair or a monthly subscription? As in, I will have to keep buying it every 4 months?

    • Yes you need to continue using minoxidil to maintain the hair grown by it.

  • Just wondering why the "bonus" items are slightly more expensive than just buying the Minoxidil?

Shouldn't you call it a bundle instead of "bonus"?

    • Yes - fair call, they were once a bonus item (see my previous expired deals) but as buy prices crept up so did the price of the main item (and the main item with the bonus), so its certainly out of kilter now with prices all over the place. I'll have a look when I get a chance, thanks for pointing out - currently packing many, many orders.

  • Can I grow a beard with this….

    • yes

  • If I use this will I need to start getting hair cuts again?

    If so, no thanks.

  • How do we backorder?

  • dab the leftovers in your palm to the eyebrows and lashes they will also soon thicken

  • Waiting for next available order!

  • It's now back order….which isn't helpful…..need it for head hair not back hair.

  • Same price here: https://www.chemistdirect.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=Res…

You also get 5% discount code or 4%cashback.

  • How do you back order? Still showing sold out?

  • Is the spray better than the liquid? I am 3 months into the 9 month supply. Is it worth stocking up?

My scalp can get quite itchy at times, is there anyone else with this?

    • When I used topical I had the same issue. No real solution because it's based on his it works.

Some people were happy with foam instead which shouldn't have the same issue.

    • I found itchy head with the spray, guess since it's alcohol based it dried out my scalp more? I also had more dandruff, nothing more frequent hair washes didn't solve.
I just finished using the spray for 4 months and now I'm about a month into using the yellow bottle with the eye dropper. I think the eye dropper is easier to apply for me. I found lots of over spray with the spray that made my air look wet for a few hours. If I didn't wipe the spray off my hair before it dried, it left a grayish colour.

      • Can you just open the spray bottle to use the dropper? I think it's the same content

  • it shows sold out:(

    • Happy to accept back orders - we have more stock coming in next week which can ship out the week commencing 12th July

  • Does this one make your hair look/feel greasy?

Been using Regaine foam since that doesn’t cause the greasy look/feel.

  • I hear people say that form is a bit better. Anyone has any experience with the form vs liquid?

  • is this spray like the foam or is a liquid spray? Cheers!

  • Hi do you have oral minoxidil?

  • Before and After (5 months)

Was grade 6 - 7 on the Norwood scale

Hair Transplant + Minoxidil + Finasteride + Ketoconazole

Hair transplant late Jan 2026 ~ 4700 grafts

    Started below routine from Feb
    Minoxidil (once daily)
Finasteride (1mg daily) - no side effects experienced
    Ketoconazole 2% (1-2 times weekly)

I think the meds also led to significant improvement as hair transplant alone wouldnt yield best results. I never tried meds before hair transplant so cant compare.

    • What kind of transplant did you get?

  • Can we add the prescription dutasteride gel capsules content to this, to make a dutasteride Minoxidil topical combination? Topical supposedly works better on blocking DHT for androgenic alopecia without the systemic side effects. Thanks

  • I drank the whole bottle and had no improvement

    • Instructions say to drink half a bottle a day. Not all at once. As it can make the hair loss worse.

      • Nah, if half a bottle means hair growth, then 1 bottle means heaps of hair growth.

2 bottles should then make you Fabio!

        Math

  • Sold out already!? Lots of demand for gender-affirming care on ozb I guess…

Picked up my usual heyfexo order, thanks as always!
