I purchased this pack for $19.99 a couple of months ago - the cashier said that it was the normal price.
I'd avoid this 2.5.
3 and above have 2 rows of cells. This is significant for high current applications.
For example, my impact driver max torque is around 30% higher using a 2 row battery.
The 2.5 is fine in a torch or low drain item. But in a impact wrench, drill, whipper snipper, mower, chainsaw… 4Ah will last longer (far less stress per çell as they share the load), and give a far better experience..
I'd value these at about $15.
+1. I only use my 2Ah and 2.5Ah for lights.
For vacuum etc 4Ah+

Impact wrench and drill are fine with the 2.5ah, actually preferred since it is a lot lighter.
Most people have a tiny yard, and 2.5ah on a whipper snipper is a great lightweight solution and it won't run out of juice.
if you are drilling or fastening all day long, you shouldn't be using DIY ozito.
i agree with the mower and chainsaw.
to be honest, i don't think anyone cares about long term use or battery health of an ozito battery. its cheap enough not to care, lol. most have too many batteries like myself. i have to purposely rotate my batteries, or i would never use the ones on the back side.
Now I would agree with this with my Makita batteries for work, but not on DIY Ozito.
I fixed a 4 bugle screws into 1 stair yesterday (impact driver). The 2.5Ah cut out. But the 4.0 had no issue at all.
Even pre drilled 70%.
So just 4 screws…and frustration. Hence, stick with a 2 row cell pack.
lol, bugle screws. That is more professional work than DIY. I would have used my Makita drill for that.
most people are putting together there ikea furniture with ozito tools. i have put in over 100 screws without changing my 2.5ah batteries.
@Hugh G Rection: I have agreed with everything you've said up to this point.
Most Ozito tools have really decent durability. I have done a full roof replacement, front porch and deck, a laundry and bathroom, plus a massive two level decking with pergola all with brushless Ozito tools I bought 2-3 years ago. In fact I'm still using many of the same 4Ah batteries I bought with my original kit seven years ago!
The impact driver alone has driven hundreds of 100mm+ batten screws, roofing screws and 1000s of deck screws.
The only Ozito tool I have replaced was a brushed circular saw which I cannot recommend. Underpowered. Replaced it with a DeWalt.

the small battery is fine for light work
i use it daily on a drill for screws on equipment , lasts me easy a month
use it on the torch
use it on the small blower
unless you are doing heavy duty work these small batteries are fine and better with less weight on the tool and your hand
you can also use this to get the $50 trade in on other battries. open it up keep charger and then trade in new batt.
Also i dont know if its a deal or not it seems to be the normal price.
i use the 2.5ah in my compressor or sprayer seems to work well.
More danding tools get 4ah/dual 4ah while drills and impact drivers are milwaukee
