I always thought E27 is the dominant standard and B22 is the British/Commonwealth outlier. For example the vast majority of IKEA's bulbs are E27.

I found these types don't last as long as fluorescent bulbs.
I used the light bulbs 12hrs per day. Only lasted around 6 months. Tried Phillips LEDs, same result.- 1
Just a thought, are you using these in enclosed spaces? Like a wall light, bollard, oyster light etc. most of the higher power ones from 5w and up are not really designed for operation without free ventilation as they actually get quite hot.

It's on ceiling. Not enclosed at all. I need a 10 watt led bulb in order to light the area properly.

10W is quite high for an LED bulb and I'm assuming the internal circuit board got cooked over time due to the heat. It doesn't help if you live in a hot climate as well, like in QLD.
More wattage = more heat. More heat = more cooling required, either with a bigger bulb (more surface area to spread heat around), or one with a heat sink. These winged LED lights might also work as well.
Alternatively just buy them from Bunnings and return them when they break.
Generally the lower the wattage the longer the bulb will last, simply because it won't cook the circuit board over time.

Any suggestions on a very bright matter/thread globe? I have the new more powerful IKEA ones but they are so much more yellow than the older Hue Ambiance globes that I find it really offputting. I do need though, brighter globes around the place

so I have an Ikea HEKTAR floor lamp, it says max 53W with the same E27 size. Question is, the bulb specs mentioned is 60W ~ 8.5W, what does that mean? Using AI it says it's fine cause the old 53W is halogen whilst this is LED so it will not overheat and we should see 8.5W which is < 53W. Is this correct?

Yes, it's OK for your lamp. It is supposed to mean it consumes 8.5W energy but is as bright as a 60W incandescent light bulb. The spec should have said something like 60W Equivalent instead of '60W'.
