There's plenty of content on netflix etc that support HDR10+. The oled panel is bright enough at 1000 nits of which approx 95% of content is mastered, rendering the tonemapping of BOTH DV and HDR10+ pretty much useless. The panel can display luminance at 1:1 ratio with no loss of dynamic range. Absolute bargain at this price. I compared to the LG in store and prefered the Samsung.

If you don't care about HDR10 content, sure. In a nutshell, the TV does not support Dolby Vision, think of it as a standard encoding for HDR10 content to use which tells the TV/Display on how to accurately show HDR10 content. TV's without it will have to "guess" how to represent this content in HDR10, this would normally be inaccurate in certain scenes.
Either way, if it were me, I would skip, still too expensive for what it is.
