  Received the AAA 16 pack today.
  I bought these for usage in remote controls.
  At less than $1 per battery, its cheap enough to use in remotes.
  $4 per eneloop is not worth for something which will be recharged once per year. Same for lithium ion 1.5V rechargeables.

  However I was worried about the Low Self Discharge properties of these as amazon reviews are conflicting.

  Happy to report that I received batteries with date code of March 2026 and they seem to have 80% charge remaining.

  So it looks like they have managed to retain charge well for at least 4 months.

    I've only got test data for literally two of my own AAA cells of various brands but 20% lines up for my cheaper LSD batteries - recent Liitokala ones and old Hobbyking Turnigy's were about 20% after leaving them for 2 months. The LADDAs only lost 7.5%. Whether that is worth 3x the price of course is another question. The Lii's did test in at ~1000mAh though so I'm happy with those given the price after cashback and what not back then. Looks like those prices aren't coming back though just looking again now.

    But I also have just put some of my really old AAA's in mice, remotes, etc. as well without much fuss or constant recharging.

  Note the AA are advertised as Made in Japan however the ones that arrived are Made in China. If people have the same problem let me know and we can try to mass report the false advertising

    Well that's a breach of Aus Consumer Law. Misleading advertising.

    You are within your rights to return them for a full refund. Personally I would jump on "live chat" & complain, see if they offer a credit to your account first.
