These terms and conditions apply to the offer where Amazon.com.au customers who (1) are Prime members; (2) have a billing address in Australia; (3) purchase a minimum $120 worth of Eligible Items in a single order during the Offer Period (defined below) and pay with Afterpay, will receive a $10 discount when they use the promo code AFTERPAYPD (“Offer”) (Eligible Customers).

This Offer is available for a limited time, beginning 12.00am (Sydney time) on 7 July 2026 and ending at the earlier of 11.59pm (Sydney time) on 13 July 2026 or the time that funding in connection with the Offer is exhausted (“Offer Period”).

If you violate any terms and conditions of the Offer, the Offer will be invalid, and the discount will not apply. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.

  • I added a bunch of things ($140 total) but the code wasn't adding to the order, everything was from Amazon AU and all had the code listed on the products, do you need to redeem it at checkout or just on the item? Not sure if its $10 off or back to your account after you redeem it :/

    • Try with one item worth 120 to test

    • Were they Subscribe and Save orders? I don't have either Afterpay or Zip show up as payment methods with Subscribe and Save, but they do with regular orders.

    • Exact amount I tried ordering too. But it didn't work for multiple items. Spoke to customer care , said they'll give a gift card of $12 …waiting for it to arrive.

    • Same here, pain in the ass. they also split the payment so no telling how it plays out. I did 122ish and have a 50 and 20 processed, billed for tomorrow ship with others arriving later dates.

    • It's $10 off your order. I just got it to work after a bunch of issues.

I did some "troubleshooting" by re-adding afterpay.
Clicking "Change payment method" re-selecting afterpay and clicking "use this payment method"

Then I went back in to add the code, selected afterpay, entered the code and hit apply a few times.

And by some miracle, it updated added the $10 discount off the order. So I hit use this payment method and checked out.

    • worked for me after changing delivery dates of all items to "Amazon Day", which is the same as the Fast Delivery dates anyway.

      • Thanks! Confirming this also worked for me!

Assuming it's because as others mentioned the shipping on different days means the total order is a split/lower amount, ie they're charged as they're shipped

      • This worked for me too after selecting deliver on Amazon day for all items, 2 items ($110) getting delivered one day then another $50 item delivered the day after

    • I tried a bunch of stuff and it didn't work, all items were showing as eligible. I gave up and ordered anyway.
Tried to re-add the items. Removed subscribe and save. Unselected and selected the Afterpay payment method. Nothing worked.

  • Assuming this doesn't work with the Topcashback deals?

    • I was going to ask the same question.

    • If you mean the $5 bonus - TCB always says this:

      1. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.

So any time I have hit a button to "redeem" a discount (ie: it then automatically adds the discount to the cart - I do not manually type in any code) I have always got the correct cashback/bonus. Just did that today with this afterpay one and hopefully it tracks OK but I'm sure it will.

      • Amazon can also decline cashback based on the terms:

        • Cashback is ineligible if using any codes entered manually in the 'Promo Code' field.
        • Cashback is ineligible on use of any coupon codes not advertised on our platform.
        • I'll try to report back what tracks for me. For myself - nothing was input manually - just a button click and the Afterpay $10 came off and has gone through. Hopefully I'll get the $5 from TCB - not expecting much but a few cents for what I bought as even though almost $200 worth I'm sure it's all the lowest %. I've never had a problem with TCB or Amazon from doing how I've done it today though. Good to always have a reminder of the terms.

          • @anonymous_coward: did it track or not ??

            • @Harsh Deep: Yes it did - both the $5 bonus and the % from the purchases tracked - just got confirmation emails this morning and checked my account.

          • @anonymous_coward: Would like to know if cashback is paid with a missing cashback claim that requires the receipt which would show any discount/code/credit used.

That's a bit different to tracking when order is placed and cashback is paid without Amazon asking for the receipt.

            • @trixieb: I have no idea about that one as that situation hasn't happened to me thus far. I am thinking that Amazon would know which of their (well it was an AfterPay offer) offers are "redeem" button vs "manually type in a promo code" though??? Maybe - idk.

  • Its weird, it was showing up on my PC but not on my mobile

  • My account is showing AfterPay is not currently available. With no reason.

    • Same

      • Ok, from the looks of it it only works for non subscribe and save items. If there's at least one S&S item in my card, I cannot select Afterpay

  • I can't get this to work

    • worked for me after changing delivery dates of all items to "Amazon Day", which is the same as the Fast Delivery dates anyway.

  • Does this stack with Shopback cashback?

  • I spent over a week going around the mulberry bush trying to use a $30 discount Afterpay offered to entice me back, but no matter what I did, I couldn’t get it to work on any Amazon purchase.

At first, I thought the discount would be applied after pressing the order button. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that wasn’t the case!

I then tried to sort it out through the customer service chat in the app, but things only got worse. Their AI customer service bots are beyond useless. I was told at least four separate times that someone would get back to me to help resolve the issue… nobody ever did.

I even tried calling them. After sitting on hold for 18 minutes, someone finally answered, only for the call to disconnect within 10 seconds - twice!.

So, good luck to anyone trying to redeem one of their discount codes!

  • Look like can't combine with GCs

    • I did $108 GC + $2 Afterpay, but it took a lot of messing around with different carts.

    • I had a $50 GC sitting in my account and I used that + Afterpay with no probs. Amazon just auto added it and took off the $10 from when I clicked redeem the afterpay offer on one of the items I bought. Total order was $190+ (before GC and discount)

  • Can't do a $200 ubereats gift card :(

  • Tried it on items purchased from Amazon costing $220 and code would not work.

  • Getting "Not available at this time" as a payment method on Amazon even though in the product description it says it's eligible for the promo.

  • I had $130 order, $23 in promotions - s&s discount and afterpay 100$ off (so net $117), had 69$ in gift cards and it ended up being ~37$ (rounding) left which I paid with afterpay. Later today got the afterpay invoice of $7 on the dot i kid you not. 4 payments for 1.5$. I am baffled by this number, has anyone else experienced anything like this, is this charge just a placeholder for the actual price later or something. I’m not complaining just baffled, the only thing I can think of is it updated the price by shifting around the gift card balance from my previous order or something. I had an order refunded to my card but deducted from my gift card balance (which I added in after I placed the order) automatically.

    • Yesterday Amazon said my grand total was $2.57 (after gift cards), but Afterpay invoiced me for $6.94.

And today Amazon also changed the grand total on the order page to $6.94. Not sure what's going on here.

      • Yeah it’s so weird at the moment, also edit: $1.75 x 4 afterpay. Not sure why you got charged more did you by chance have gift card balance as well?

  • Works fine. To dumb it down, your items generally needs to shipped by amazon AU. No US, Germany or Japanese Amazon, just AU.

Also, just like many Amazon coupons, it may say error, but if u look at the checkout total, your $10 will be there.

This is probably an IQ test and social experiment by Amazon to weed out the dead wood lol This is a valid and good deal.

  • The offer has disappeared for me - even on the same items that it was previously on. Tried adding afterpay and doing it at checkout with no avail

    • Me too.

    • Same. I'm seeing a Zip $20 off $200 one now.

      • What's the code for this one?

        • Gone now I think, I'm not seeing that one either. That's what I get for waiting for any other deals to pop up.

          • @gcheap: Both offers have been fully redeemed.

  • Looks like they ended this early as it's no longer showing on mine.
