  • The best deal (so far)

  • Big Feed*

  • All I want is 9pcs for $9.95, not something $20.

    • Ok

    • And I just want milk that tastes like real milk

      • With only 2% fat…

        • For all their advertising, it seems its not exactly easy to find Pauls smarter white milk.

      • real milk

        Hi mom!

    • Go halves with someone. $10 and you get 8 pieces and they can have nuggets chips gravy and drink

    • Yeah this basically $12 extra for 6 nuggs, chips drink and mash. All super cheap stuff dressed up nicely in this "deal"

      • More like $11 extra for 6 nuggets and 4 large sides. That's not super cheap stuff, it's a great deal.

        • The paper bag they use for the 6 nuggets probably costs them more than the nuggs itself

  • Take the nuggets away and make it $15 plz

    • take away everything but the nuggets and make is $2 plz

      • 8 piece for $8 that was what I picked up yesterday

        • That means you don't need any today.

        • How did you get 8 for $8? Wasn't it 5 for $8?

          • @harveybunnings: My bad. It was 5 actually and I thought 8 like previous $8 box deals. The kitchen were juicy so still happy.

            • @bcYield: I wanted 5 hot and spicy but no bono according to the app. Hopefully I can switch it out today for this deal

  • i can eat that in under 10min easy

    • Prove it or no balls

      • I can eat that in under an hour easy.

        • Murica spotted.

  • Can we swap chips and potato gavy for coleslaw?

    • No

    • You can, but why would you. You're ripping yourself off by getting less calories per dollar.

      • You actually can't with this specific deal, in the app anyway.

  • Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit of a rip off.

20 dollars is not junk food territory. Pubs have daily deals for 20 dollars and less…

    • Yep a few places here have deals and includes salad and veg bar for $20 for a decent schnitzel 😊

    • This meal can feed like 2-4 people for $20 so this is much cheaper than going to the pub…

      • If feeding means still being hungry afterwards then I guess?

        • Hotdamn how big are you big boi.

I eat like a chicken handful of chips and a scoop of mash and coleslaw and I'm satiated af.

        • How fkn fat are you?! 8 pieces alone are over 8000kj, add in the sides and drink and we're talking around 15000kj of fried food. Not even the Rock will be hungry after eating all that junk.

    • brother, this is not meant to be a meal for one….

    • If this is all for you in one meal mate then you have bigger problems. This is a lot of food.

        • Now you've done it! You've offended someone's feelings

          • @Fuzor: Seems that the boot tastes very good… Finger licking good…

        • If your caloric intake a day is anywhere near 15,000kj you’re either a gym junkie, an athlete, 8 foot tall or really obese.

You’re not the average person here.

    • 20 bucks is basically a HJ burger meal these days, I mean on my HJ app a double cowboy whopper (small) meal is $20.05.

I'm sure if I check maccas I can find a $20 meal as well. This is a date night meal for 2. It's a good feed

      • Just because things cost 20 bucks doesn't mean 1) its of good value 2) that is now the normal

Like we the consumers have a say in prices. Better to shop around than to pay for a CEO's bonus.. Better yet, if I'm gonna blow money on food I'm going to a local joint rather than a multinational

        • When everywhere you go has high prices it mean high prices are the new normal. Life is a game of relativity, if you don't believe so I'm happy to hire you for $2 an hour.

Local shops are even more expensive.

          • @cloudy: Local shops are some of the last places to raise prices. Further, the percentage difference reduces (assuming both places raise prices by the same amount (which is usually about right (up by 50c to a dollar))) over time so I don't really see the point of buying junk food (outside of very good deals or I'm drunk on a Saturday and there's limited choice nearby).

And this offering by KFC is not a good deal and further its priced such that you lose nothing by going local…

            • @Some Random Guy: I beg to differ.

My wife recently bought a cake from a suburban shop we occasionally frequent, paid $55 for a cake. She noted it must have gone up as it’s never been so expensive. Upon looking at past bank statements, almost to the month 2 years ago it was $45.

So my local places are inflating at over 10% a year. I don’t believe your arguments hold water, but that’s just my experience.

    • From reading the comments, yes.

Are you willing to accept that answer? From reading your comments, no.

      • Am I willing to accept what answer? 🤣

I'm just posting my opinion anonymously online like everyone else.

  • They should allow switch of the sides, I don't want 2 large chips, replace with a large coleslaw and I am in.

      • No you can't swap, sides are locked in app.

        • Thanks for the correction. I just checked and you're right even though it is listed as first side, second side etc

  • got the deal $8 box yesterday, every piece except 1 was a wing

    • Got the $20 box today and it was all drums and thighs.

      • thighs are the best

      • Got this for the kids lunch today, and to my surprise, it was 2 x breasts, 2 x drummies, 3 x thighs and only 1 x wing…
        Awesome split…
        Never happened before…

        • So no ribs? Ideally I'd want: 2 x ribs, 2 breasts, 2 thighs, 1 wing, 1 drummy

          • @zaphy: Maybe one of the Breasts was a Rib, I didnt get a chance to look too closely before the kids scoffed it all.
The left me the wing !
            And some P&G

    • This happened to me. I made a complaint on the app and they gave me another box.

This is not being a Karen. It's totally reasonable to not get 4 wings.

    • I'd burn the place to the ground.

      • Pookie! Let's burn it, Pookie! Let's burn this (profanity) down! Let's burn it down! Let's burn it…….

    • I got mine early, 11am, and they squashed 5 pieces. But I got a variety of pieces. Leg, wing, etc.

  • Almost the same as the good ole Cheap as Chips deal.

    • It is actually the same except they have locked the sides and it is $1 cheaper than the original price of $21 - so actually not as good.

      • Yeah it used to be two sides - we'd typically get one potato and gravy and one coleslaw. Not great having to get the drink.

  • "y’all!" - Green vomit emoji.

    • “Green vomit emoji” 🤮🤢

    • Yeah, I don't understand why KFC has to be all "we're down with the cool kids" in their marketing of everything

      • I reckon it’s meant to sound more like something someone from Kentucky would say.

  • So basically cheap as chips at its og $20 price

  • Got this, was super soggy and oil leaking out everywhere. Bet ya they took it out of the fryer and straight into the box.

    • Yep, happened to mine too. Didn't help that they had the box sideways so the entire right side of the box literally oiled and ripped up

  • Seems more like a $15 deal.

  • Our local KFC made a mistake of giving us 10 wicked wings instead of 6 nuggets. Winning!!!!

    • There are some great W from ordering near closing time where they substitute items for whatever they have left. You definitely won't be worse off

  • Must remember to never get original recipe again, so oily
