    • Worth a try, but I doubt they'll price-beat Costco given it isn't a price available to the general public

      • Terms have changed again recently, should be fine again.

Whether the price is good enough is another question entirely…

      • They changed their terms of conditions on this just yesterday.

    • How? Officeworks doesn't sell tvs

  • one year ago this was a brgain, one year later this is just regular clearance

  • Bought it last year, great TV for gaming and usual.

  • I need 75 c7k at this price

    • 65 c8k

    • Costco online chat did say they wont be getting the 75" c7k back

  • Have had my C7K 65" for almost a year as our family's main TV. Prior to that, I had a Sony A80J OLED that didn't survive a lightning storm. While it doesn't come close to Sony's picture quality, for the price paid, it's excellent value for what you get in terms of features and picture quality. The OS speed is good, and I really don't have any complaints. It's efficient and runs at just under 100W for the settings I have it currently on. There are plenty of Youtube videos and guides on how to optimise the picture settings to get the most from your unit.

Anyone that's budget conscious and on the fence about pulling the trigger on this, go for it. I would happily buy this model again.

    • With the A80J, you could still try sell it for parts, or possibly a repair service around that can fix it up hopefully

    • I’ve seen some of those picture optimisation guides and honestly, it looks good as is. I think most people will be very pleased given the price. But good to know you can tweak if need be.

    • i am out of touch. never realised current tvs consume that much power

      • Well, your gonna get a kick out of how much the plasma's use then

      • 100w is very efficient actually. Desktop PCs, older LCD and Plaza TVs consumed a significant amount more power

    • Just to add to this, I purchased a Bravia 7 and 8 II this year and can comfortably say that the Bravia 8 II QD-OLED is not $1000 better than the Bravia 7 Mini LED. I was very apprehensive purchasing a Mini LED because I am very sensitive to blooming but it's simply non existent or at least I can't see it. Sure, if you want perfect contrast with the lights out, OLED will look better but in all other cases, it's nonsense spending so much money on OLED. I'm a convert.

      • I love my blooming TV.

        • I see what you did there.

        • Go back to Summer Bay

      • Improved viewing angles alone are worth the $1k.

Then there's the colour volume, and the small highlight peak brightness, and the motion performance. All of that before you get into the OLED having 10,000x more dimming zones.

        • It's a bedroom TV so off axis viewing is of no concern. Sure, colour volume is marginally better on the Bravia 8 II but motion handling is better on the Bravia 7 according to RTINGS and so is SDR and HDR peak brightness. Perfect blacks are so overrated. All I know is, the Bravia 7 did an outstanding job according to Vincent Teoh when he tested the really dark scene in House of the Dragon. That's good enough for me.

    • how do you find the remote and user interface speed? have the C745 and often find the remote reverts to IR mode for some reason and also frequently find the google tv software slow. do you find either of these things to be true with the C7K?

      • I never have any issues with the remote or software. On boot up, the UI may be slow (but that's because I think it's refreshing all the home content for the day), but it's fine afterwards.

The remote works fine with Google Voice where I hold the button to speak into the remote mic. Button presses have always been responsive.

My research tells me that the C745 uses a system on chip MediaTek MT9615 (MT5889), while the C7K uses a newer generation MediaTek Pentonic 700 (MT9653).

  • No shipping to WA it seems

  • Just went to jb WA and asked for the best price c8k 65 for $1356 + $59 delivery.

    • Very close to the all time low, probably worth pulling the trigger.

    • Could you provide a copy of your invoice as I would love to try this at my local JB.

      • See my comment below. Happy to send you my receipt if you PM me

    • I got it for $1400 at JB in Midland 2 weeks ago. Took it home myself. So the same as your price. Very happy with the TV

    • Could you provide a copy of your invoice as I would love to try this at my local JB in Innaloo as well.Thanks.

  • Great TV got a few months ago from JB..really like the the Google TV software

  • WA - Don't Bother - No Stock
    Won't ship interstate either

  • I owned this exact tv. Unless you are sitting directly in front of this tv with no side viewing angle whatsoever, it's a nice tv. If you need to sit to the side to view the tv in the room you are placing it in, I wouldn't get it. The colours wash out.

  • I've owned a C855 for a couple of years now and switched to an LG OLED.

Switching back to TCL because of Google TV and the Mini LED is hands down the best tech.

    • Why do you change TV’s so often?

      • I never stop wondering this question too. My main tv is 20 years old and find no reason to replace it (it has vodatv to act like a smart tv)

      • Marketplace - generally don’t lose money on them, sometimes make money

    • The only OLED I'll ever go back to the LGs G series. You get perfectly blacks and more than enough peak brightness to handle a bright environment. In the meantime though, I'm more than happy with Mini LED.

      • Currently have a G2

It’s good but unfortunately developed coil whine (common issue) because they just increased the power supply and overclocked the voltages

  • Been eyeing this TV for awhile, thanks OP!

  • Missed out.

Guess I'll wait for the C7L.
