even after messing with eq on those? I bought the nothing headphones 1 for $263 and waiting for them to be delivered. Wondering if the momentums are better sound wise

Does FINDERSAVE code stack with the 15% Topcashback offer?

No

where can we find the 223$ no code + 15% cashback listing?
- 0

Well if you buy via topcashback with the 15% offer the final price will be $220.15.
Just log into tcb and go via link…

Decided to give these a shot to replace my XM3's that have served me well since 2018 (just tired after multiple batteries and earcups). Had the Soundcore Space One Pro's for $155 from AliExpress, but the white model has a peeling issue on the headband material, so returned them. Was going to get a pair of them in black as they were decent for the price, but will see how these go instead.

Soundcore feel cheap too… Creaky, crappy buttons. Sold them on eBay.

I didn't find the Space One Pro's to feel cheap, that was actually the strong point of them for me. Decent amount of metal, extremely sturdy, buttons were decent enough plastic, no creakiness on either my partner's black pair nor my white ones that I returned. In the very least they felt higher quality in construction and material than my XM3's and the Bose QC45's.

Are these good for gaming?
- 0

Not really.
They take a wired connection through USB-C so there is that, however being bluetooth headphones, the microphone defaults to the BT Hands-Free protocols.
That cuts the speaker output to a mono channel and low bandwidth, even when connected via the USB cable. There is no work-around. I recall to use another microphone, you need to constantly have to disable this protocol on Windows every time you want to use the computer. So yes technically you can disable that, use it with a USB connection, disable the microphone in Windows/prevent apps accessing it, and then use a different mic input, or use your phone as a mic. Otherwise, every app just wants to access the mic and it changes the protocol.
And I think the bluetooth audio latency was not particularly good for gaming or movies either.

or movies
Damn. Don't tell me people buy this strictly for music.

Latency is fine but as with anything else you have to ensure you use AptX or AAC codec mode depending on your platform to ensure low latency.
It's just gaming that is messed up because of the Hand-Free Protocol nonsense.

@mj7312: I guess it depends on the user's sensitivity or care for lip sync. It's just standard latency in AAC for all Bluetooth headphones.
The easiest workaround for sensitive people is just using the USB cable if you don't have AptX Adaptive, or using a BT dongle in your device which provides AptX Adaptive support.
If you don't need a mic when gaming, I suppose they are no worse a choice than other Bluetooth headphones as I assume the behaviour of the hands-free protocol is pretty much the same for all.
Really great headphones in all other respects for the current price.

I use headphones like these for commuting, so music, podcasts, youtube videos etc. I would say that is what most people use them for.

heya- just purchased this yesterday via top cashback. however order has not been tracked. has anyone experienced this problem?
- 0

did you use the FINDERSAVE code with the purchase via tcb 15% offer?
- 0

No. i didnt use that code and paid full. i dont know why it is not tracked. did you buy and u got tracked?
- 0

FYI, I appealed the claim with TCB and it actually came through about 2 days ago for $38.85 cashback on the $259 sale price.
15 week wait to be able to put it in the bank, so not sure the extra $12.95 saving is worth the wait in this inflation environment, but at least I suppose TCB did eventually respond and do the right thing :-).

Same.
Ordered today and not tracked.

And i thought that the $279 i paid for the Momentum 4 80th Anniversary Edition which i got a few months ago was cheap. It's a really good wireless headphone with adequate ANC. For this price here it's an amazing deal.

Expired.
Was waiting for my pay to buy this headphones.
Damn it, deal lasted for less than a week.

Same here. I blinked and it was gone :-(

Mine arrived. Am honestly torn. They sound decent, NC seems fine. Compared to my Sony XM3's and especially the Sound core Space One Pro's, comfort just isn't close. It feels like the ear cups don't quite have enough cushion. I am surprised as everything I had read said they were quite comfortable, but maybe not for my head. Hoping I get used to them over the next few days as I'd rather not keep hunting.

Thank you for the review!
If you are in Perth and wants to on sell, drop me a line please.
I might look at Bose..- 1

I got these recently and the sound quality blows away the Sony XM5's, XM6's and definitely the Bose Ultras. ANC is a little weaker though, but still fine.
