I didn't compare the phone to Ferrari, but comparing a $260 Moto G6 to a $2k top of the range iPhone, is like a Toyota Camry to an Ferrari. It can drive, get you from A to B and daily needs. But it won't have the extra bells and whistles. We agree to disagree.

If the new iphone is a genuine GPS satellite phone without some extra condition or trick, then I will say that definitely increases its value. The camera features are mostly gimmicks and would be easily handled by a camera worth half the price. Though lots of those other features have Android or other app versions/work arounds too so just reads more like an ad.

Really? Cause most places have it close to $2K. And the refinement of the iPhone / Apple ecosystem makes it worth a few hundred extra for sure…. The Galaxy line has so many small rough edges when used next to an IPhone. Especially given a device like this can certainly have a 5 year lifespan. $60-$80 pa extra absolute worst case is well worth it.
