      Not really comparable. What is comparable is my big Iniu which is 27000mAh, 140W charging and was only $76. Sure it cant do 140W when also using other ports but most use cases 100W is enough.         the 25k "mini" iniu can do 100W PD one port. mine is the 20k so checked and only 65W.

        fyi this Xiaomi is 100W PD out of one port. the 120W max is for Xiaomi phone only.

        sorry my bad Xiaomi can do 140W. I only saw the 120W max at the end.

        I don't think so. many satisfied iniu customers on ozb. which is why I was so confident in my first comment here, even though I got two things wrong.

        there are more than a couple comments here on the xiaomi saying it failed on them quickly so. 💁‍♀️

    Fantastic charger, served me very well as the only charger during my China trip last year. Used for topping up 2 phones and a camera daily.

    edit: I bought it in china and it had the CCC stamp

          it's only for domestic flights in China, and I found out just a few days ago that it's enforced, rather than a policy that nobody cares about.

            @bobvegas: I flew into Shanghai from Melbourne in April this year carrying two non-CCC power banks (both 10,000 mAh) in carry on (half-expecting it to be confiscated) but had no issues. Some posts here however sound like they have had theirs confiscated

            edit: sorry just read your comment and seems to apply mostly for domestic flights within China.

      The internal batteries operate at around ~3.6V, so to charge your phone or whatever else they need to be boosted to 5V/9V/12V/20V/etc.

      This voltage conversion, along with other efficiency losses, means we're left with the rated capacity of 14,000 mAh, assuming 5V.

      It's the same in most, if not all, other power banks. Watt-hour is the better unit to use when comparing batteries anyway because it accounts for voltage already.

      Nominal capacity for this power bank is ~90Wh. At 14,000 mAh @ 5V this gives us ~70Wh, which means it's around 77% efficient. Not the best I've seen, but not surprising, either.

      I wouldn't think too hard about mAh if I were you.

      that's normal my 20k iniu says 20,000mAh but underneath says rated 13,000mAh usable. reviews showed iniu manages to test very efficient somehow, also efficient by how much mAh you have to charge it (it's always going to be more than 20k to charge).

      13k is what makes it into the device you charge. what you divide by your phone battery by so if yours is 2,000mAh you can charge phone roughly 6 times.

    Used 2 times and became a brick. Never change your phone from the C1 port (fastest port) while charging the power bank via C2. It will overheat and lock itself forever to avoid any event of a fire…Must be a design bug.

      Sounds like you got a dud. I almost exclusively charge the power bank via C2 and charge my phone, laptop whatever via C1 at the same time. Actually works really well while travelling because I only need to bring a small slow charge power brick to top up the power bank overnight and can quickly charge all my stuff as needed.

      Try your one then;) use a 2A 5V charger charge it while use C1 to PD charging your iPhone

    On the other hand, this is also the only power bank I know of that functions as a perfect UPS, so it's up to you to decide if it's worth the risk.

        iniu only charges with 1 port. so I guess doesn't have this problem.

        pretty confusing if you have 2 ports to charge it and one is not recommended. 💁‍♀️

        Huh, this is actually quite interesting. The user who had a malfunctioning (burning) unit was also using the C2 port.

        I purchased one of the earliest units offered by Mostly Melbourne which came with the CCC mark, and I almost never use the C2 port.

        I stick with input charging via C1 and output via USB A because I happen to have Xiaomi's proprietary 120W USB A cable. Never had any issues with my unit.

        Maybe there is something wrong with Xiaomi's implementation of the C2 port and that's what caused so many issues?

          Yeah, you seem to be right. Sorry, I made a typo earlier. As long as you avoid using C2 when multi-charging, it should be fine. I did a bit of research and found the issue should be caused by the built-in BMS chip

              @anonym: What most likely happened during that 30-minute charging session, where I slow-charging the power bank via C2 while discharging to my iPhone is a thermal lock as the screen still can be turned on with shown 0%. The intense, compounding heat (It was very warm at the time when I unplugged it)from dual-way voltage conversion under heavy load and caused a cell's voltage to drop so catastrophically low that the BMS flagged a Permanent Failure (PF). Once a BMS trips a PF flag for safety reasons, it permanently locks the battery from ever accepting a charge again to prevent a fire.

                @GOReds: Hm. For a power bank that rates itself at 212W discharge, you'd expect it to be able to handle the heat from ~45W in and ~45W out…

                I suppose being at 0% at the time was the main reason yours got messed up. Cell voltage dropped too low, probably caused a massive imbalance, and the built-in protection kicked in to disable the whole thing permanently.

                  @anonym: I've got the older flatter 210w model and that one supports passthrough fast charging (I use it as a powerbank for my car's dashcams), but the new one doesn't. It mentions 2 way fast charging, but it's just referring to port 1 supporting fast in and fast out.

        Were you referring to its UPS capabilities? Which exact model did you have? Was it the ZMI No.20 QB826G? That one wasn't a perfect UPS - its USB A port resets when you plug or unplug devices from either one of its USB C ports when it is outputting at 20V.

          If not that one, then one very similar, yeah. Can't recall about USB-A acting differently; I pretty much only used the usb-c ports

          In any case, no question - the tech in this powerbank is fantastic. Shame about hearing so many people having issues with it; rare for Xiaomi PBs.

          Two things: other users have said it does, so it might be a printing issue, not a stamp issue. Secondly, it's by Xiaomi. Probably the biggest power bank manufacturer in the world, and its based in China. Pretty sure basically all of its stuff is CCC okay. (But I'm no expert, just a fan)

            @PeppaPigDidNthngWrng: I am aware that others here have mentioned that they have units with the CCC stamp. The 212w and 165w I received both only have the CE markings. Chances are they're shipping out a mix of stock. Mine had a production date of late 2025.

            I'm a Xiaomi fan as well, we have a Mi 9T, Poco F8 ultra, Xiaomi 17, and a few of their watches. From the initial reports online, the airports don't care for what brand it is, they only check for the logo. I'd rather not risk it.

    i bought one of these when I was in the Philippines and I was able to take it on my Australia flight. This was in April. CCC wasn't checked back then but its capacity is within the allowed range to be taken in flight. I had no issues with it yet and I've been using it almost daily since I got it. What's good is it's PD3.1 and I use it mostly with my S26 Ultra and laptop. I did not notice any overheating even when charging it with a PD3.1 charger which takes less than 2 hours from empty to 100%.

      Ccc is Chinese regulations.
      S26 ultra you'd need to look at pps to get the quick charge 2.0 not so much the pd3.1 spec.

      3.1 is interesting because of 28v, get a 24v usb trigger and you can run a camping fridge off this. Normal 20v pd just doesn't have the power for the initial surge of those fridges.

          Seems sfc 3 is now using 20v @ 3amps, instead of 9v.

          What's weird is it still uses pps 20-21v, PD already has profiles for 20v charging. This is just gonna make the phone picky on what chargers will trigger sfc 3

    Good deal but I have good news and bad news.

    The good: I can confirm this unit is marked and certified with CCC. So you can travel with it within China

    The bad: I've had 3 of these units and 2 of them have died within 1 year. It's a shame because this is a really good product otherwise. YMMV

      because makes sense to sell china model in china because more likely to return to china (where 3C matters?).

      global model they sell outside china they consider less likely to return to china, so they didn't bother with 3C logo I guess.

      other than that maybe some conspiracy about making it easy to confiscate power banks there and then sell them cheap on 2nd hand market.

          I read it somewhere on ozb I think. someone claiming to be in china said something like "suspiciously a massive amount of these power banks without 3C logo have ended up on local 2nd hand market on socials (such as baido)".
